The entire world's movers and shakers, swindlers and fakers, public money piss-takers will be watching in trepidation at what Trump will do to them. The entire world's great and the good, high and the mighty, shifty and flighty will be supporting Hillary. Will you be with the people supporting Trump?

Have you got the ice cream, the chocolate, the biscuits and the matchsticks to keep the eyelids open ready?

As a warm-up, here is Sky News's 30 minute documentary shown last night

"Trump. Could it really happen?"

Here is Dr Martin Luther King's niece, Alveda King, endorsing Trump

And? I have a few family members that think very differently from me.

claig · 30/09/2016 08:39

It won't affect his poll ratings at all. The people don't care because they all know he is coming for the elites and he intends to kick ass. That is all that counts.

Claig:
Clinton is getting away with huge scandals
And earlier:
"Trump's alleged university fraud" (not direct quote)

We have to laugh.

claig · 30/09/2016 08:41

'I have a few family members that think very differently from me.'

The fact that there are some common sense members of your family has nothing to do with the outcme of the American election.

OP posts:
OhYouBadBadKitten · 30/09/2016 08:42

so why is he so rattled then?

from his Twitter feed at ridiculous o'clock: "Anytime you see a story about me or my campaign saying "sources said," DO NOT believe it. There are no sources, they are just made up lies!"

Lweji · 30/09/2016 08:42

More like
"all know he is coming from the elites"

WinchesterWoman · 30/09/2016 08:44

That's not rattled kitten - he's just nuts and he doesn't care

Lweji · 30/09/2016 08:44

'I have a few family members that think very differently from me.'

The fact that there are some common sense members of your family has nothing to do with the outcme of the American election.

Are you really that dense or the script malfunctioned?
You know that's not what I meant.

claig · 30/09/2016 08:46

'so why is he so rattled then?'

Because this is Trump's weakness - vanity.

As Ted Cruz's former Republican campaign manager said, Trump is vain and therefore that is his weakness, it is all about him, so the Clinton team of hired whizzkids exploit hs weakness by having a go at him personally and instead of Trump sticking to the big issues and big scandals, he wastes time fighting off every minor attack on his ego which the public doesn't care about.

The public know that Trump is brash, slightly dodgy and a bullshitter, but they don't care as long as he kicks ass of the Establishment crooks.

The Clinton whizzkids exploit his vanity to sidetrack him from kicking ass and that is how they hope to beat him.

"Anytime you see a story about me or my campaign saying "sources said," DO NOT believe it. There are no sources, they are just made up lies!"

That is SO funny, because it's mostly true, but in relation to what he says.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 30/09/2016 08:49

I think it is rattled, because it was only posted maybe 30 minutes ago, when he should be fast asleep. He never tweets early morning our time.

Roussette · 30/09/2016 08:56

Don King and Martin Luther King's niece. So what. It's hardly a coup that. Don King... the man convicted of manslaughter. Two black Americans out of millions who don't support him. I think the figure of 1% of black Americans support him? Oh, that's 1% plus 2 individuals! Oh hang on... there's Mike Tyson too - a man convicted of rape!

He's a racist and that's why.

claig · 30/09/2016 09:06

' I think the figure of 1% of black Americans support him?'

That is a mainstream media (MSM) figure, the type of thing the Guardian and the BBC would reporty. It is not true.

"Trump's black support explodes in biggest battleground state

Trump has attracted the backing of a full 20 percent of black Americans in Florida, a poll by Florida Atlantic University and the Economics Polling Initiative found.

The survey, conducted Aug. 19-22 and released Wednesday, shows Democrat Hillary Clinton winning the support of 68 percent of Florida’s black voters.

Trump took an overall lead in the state, 43 to 41 percent, within the poll’s 2.7 percent margin of error.

While Clinton takes the largest share of African-American voters, Trump’s numbers are noteworthy because Republican candidates have failed to capture more than 13 percent of the black vote in the state in at least 24 years:

"Clinton campaign in ‘panic mode’ over Florida black voters

"Hillary Clinton's campaign is in panic mode. Full panic mode," said Leslie Wimes, a South Florida-based president of the Democratic African-American Women Caucus.

"They have a big problem because they thought Obama and Michelle saying, 'Hey, go vote for Hillary' would do it. But it's not enough," Wimes said, explaining that too much of the black vote in Florida is anti-Trump, rather than pro-Clinton. "In the end, we don't vote against somebody. We vote for somebody."

Maybe Trump's rattled because he's dropped 4-6 points in the polls since the debate and his tactics of blaming Clinton for her husband's cheating and weight shaming a Miss Universe contestant don't seem too popular.

EllyMayClampett · 30/09/2016 09:15

There is no way I believe that Trump has the support of 20% of Florida's black voters. It simply beggars belief.

TheBurningBridge · 30/09/2016 09:20

Well I bit and looked at the Florida link Claig posted. But then i saw the list of similar articles in the sidbar:

Limbaugh: Hillary came off as 'a witch with a capital B'

Got to laugh...

This
www.sun-sentinel.com/news/politics/fl-clinton-campaign-black-voters-20160927-story.html
doesn't really support that claim of such a high black vote for Trump.

However, it does point out that Clinton needs Trump to have less than 10% among black voters in Florida.
Not sure about panic, but it's not by all means an easy state.

EllyMayClampett · 30/09/2016 10:08

There is a subtle difference between simply not voting at all vs. voting for the other candidate.

I think there are very few black voters who will vote for Trump. However, Clinton could have a problem if black voters in FL are not sufficiently inspired to bother to vote for her. If they stay home, white working class voters who are inspired to vote for Trump will not have any opposing votes.

EllyMayClampett · 30/09/2016 10:10

IMHO, there aren't really any swing voters. It's a marmite election.

Now, it is all about "juicing up your base." It's pleasing the people who already are leaning towards you enough that they bother to go out and vote.

TheBurningBridge · 30/09/2016 10:32

I'm pretty sure I read, but can't for the life of me remember where, that what differentiates this election over others are the huge numbers of undecided. Neither candidate is an obvious choice for either traditional Republican or Democrat voters. I'm not saying they are equally awful, clearly Trump trumps Clinton in the most awful category.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 30/09/2016 11:10

USA today have absolutely slammed Trump and advised people which way to vote, for the first time in it's history.

Roussette · 30/09/2016 11:13

That is a mainstream media (MSM) figure, the type of thing the Guardian and the BBC would reporty. It is not true. Nope, claig, this was from american press here.

Love this quote from it -

"A new poll shows Donald Trump is viewed favorably by zero percent of black voters with some saying they think more highly of the bubonic plague and middle airplane seats.

That poll was conducted by PPP, a liberal-leaning polling firm, according to The Hill. The firm asked black voters “whether they preferred Trump to things such as bedbugs, junk mail, carnies, bubonic plague and middle airplane seats,” says The Hill. Black voters had a more favorable opinion of those things than they did of Trump, said MSNBC."

OhYouBadBadKitten · 30/09/2016 11:15

sorry, rogue apostrophe!!

He clearly hasn't slept well overnight as he is now being utterly utterly vile about Alicia Machado on twitter.

Lweji · 30/09/2016 11:24

Did Crooked Hillary help disgusting (check out sex tape and past)

Ah!

He once called Kim K. (of sex tape fame) a "classy lady" (or something very similar) on The Apprentice.

Grin
OhYouBadBadKitten · 30/09/2016 11:29

He does seem to be having a bit of a melt down today doesn't he?
