Old thread here

Welcome to our Gratitudes for 2014! The lovely crescentmoon started last years, and we are running out of space. So, here is our 2014 thread-for little things that go well for us each day.

Any MNer can join in! From any faith, no faith, every day, once in a while, everyone is welcome!

I am grateful for
a New Year and new starts
all my grown up DC having a good time at parties and returning home safely
a warm bath and a glass of wine

Also thankful for a bright day and good music on the radio for the drive back
Was also good to see lovely family, bless them all x

Gratitude review for 2014!

That DD has had a full year off chemo and is doing okay.

That DS is growing up into a proper character who makes me laugh every day.

That I have a lovely, kind husband.

That we have a roof over our heads, jobs, food and all the essentials covered plus some extra for luxury if it takes our fancy.

That I have left an employer who made me very unhappy and started to regain my professional confidence elsewhere.

I am feeling positive for 2015. This is new for me! Will there be a new gratitudes thread for it?

You betcha Kinky - I don't feel I could do 2015 without one Xmas Smile

Hoping someone picks up the last day of the year gauntlet there!

Feeling gratitude this morning for my DC and my partner especially in raising them DH

For the sense of presence that has accompanied us through this difficult year, not least through friends on this thread Thanks But also in our local Meeting House community, and through many other friends and family

For all we take with us into whatever challenges 2015 may bring - our good health and relative happiness, our jobs, our home, and the security these bring, the children's school and all their friends. Our wider family.

And because the immediate and smaller things can sometimes make us feel the most thankful .... for another bright winter's day with blue skies Thanks

gratitudes for 2014 -

another year negotiated without too much trauma
all the children are doing well, S1's job is fab, DS2 is handling uni really well, DS3 doing fine at college, DD is growing into a capable and mature young woman (amidst normal teenage tantrums and angst), DS4 continues to make slow but steady progress, he's speaking a bit more and has a friend nowGrin
DH continues to have a job
my health hasn't deteriorated any further this year
food, water, safety and shelter
faith to sustain me
a year of mild and even warm weather
the love of good friends
