Welcome to our Gratitudes for 2014! The lovely crescentmoon started last years, and we are running out of space. So, here is our 2014 thread-for little things that go well for us each day.

Any MNer can join in! From any faith, no faith, every day, once in a while, everyone is welcome!

I am grateful for
a New Year and new starts
all my grown up DC having a good time at parties and returning home safely
a warm bath and a glass of wine

Juggling good luck to your DD and hope you get your calm!

• warm bed
• crochet project coming along nicely so far (I'm very good at doing them wrong)
• big cups of tea

grateful this morning for

-a good nights sleep
-a rest today from lifes treadmill
-good friends and the possibility of new friends
-Gods goodness in spite of my actions
-God remembering me when He didn't have to
-access to good health care
-new mercy for me this morning.

For my wonderful DH who is always by my side

My mum who is truly the best person in the world! And the best cook

The closeness I feel to God and the peace I get from it

My beautiful home with my new flourishing garden

My hot watter bottle

The amazing NHS

• autumn beauty all around us (the drive to work, when the sun catches the trees, is awesome)
• my lovely family
• a peaceful evening yesterday which is a rarity

Oh I feel we're in winter up here, so cold and it is already dark.

It's definitely winter, Annunziata. it was pitch black at quarter past 4 yesterday. I always feel as if we only have autumn for about 2 days and then the trees are bare, it's dark all day and it's time for the thermals and fluffy socks.

a good week
DD reaching the final of the school Bake Off, there are so many yummy cakes in our house

Yes to I have a job, DH has a job. Both going OK ATM

• even quite interesting to us both

But also .... It's Friday!

Glad to hear good Fridays.

Well, it is Friday. Wine is good. Hug from dh (rare). Central heating. Feel our little family's been breaking apart so some things are a comfort.

DC's also enjoyed their pineapple and coconut juice so doesn't have to be wine. Popping a packet of Pringles to share also good
