the ones i'll be using, there is only two sizes, up to 14lb and from them onwards, so i am thinking baby is going to look huge in them at the beginning, ... who knows, i cannot find anybody locally who uses them, but i'll be joining a breast feeding group soon, hopefully, somebody will there.

salbysea · 01/04/2010 20:13

where do you live? maybe someone here is local! (doesn't matter if you don't wanna say )

alle01 · 01/04/2010 20:19

brighton area, would be great to find someone to meet for a cofee, assuming i can make it without much delay

Having a moses basket isnt importaint we put DS into his cot straight away, only got one for DD cos mum bought it and got one for this baby cos having a home birth and i thought would be easier to plonk her straight in that as giving bith in living room!

I let mine sleep in their little chair through day then their cot/basket on a night good way of getting them into a routine!

evening everyone - if anyone remembers who I am?! LOL Not really been around much for a while, but for a good reason - and that is because, I'm preg with baby #4! (tho my facebook friends know this already!) Anyway, the past 8 weeks have had me feeling totally exhausted and sick most of the day. And whilst I'm not totally free of feeling sick, now that I'm 13 weeks, my energy is coming back and I'm beginning to feel human again!!! It is wonderful! Was doing lots of spring cleaning today and it felt lovely! So yeah, excited about another wee baby - due in October! Though I won't need to do any fluffy shopping, as I have a huge stash already - unless I feel the need to upgrade from size 1 cotton tots to something mnore fancy - tho they worked a treat before, so no reason to ditch them really! but if we get another girl, then I'll HAVE to get some girly nappies at some point, as only had boys since I went over to more exciting nappies (my daughter was in prefolds & proraps - all boring white!).

Well, hope everyone is doing ok!

octothechildherder · 03/04/2010 10:05

salbysea · 08/04/2010 14:38

mumface how's she doing now?

my weenotions are here at last and are BEAUTIFUL, but am worried now as the pockets are one size and am having probs with BTP poppers rubbing inside LO's thighs now that he's toddling
please tell me its a fleeting phenomena

mumface · 08/04/2010 17:56

She didn't make it. Sadly they had to turn the life support off as the damage to her brain was too much. Awfully sad family here right now. She only turned 17 last week. Just too tragic.
