Funny how they suddenly said brights were coming back after pages full of unhappy customers on facebook. Sounds like a quick rethink to me

Hi all

Maasive anti-climax then. Bummer! Was hoping for prints at very least. Am liking idea of poppers I suppose, but the design is pretty sound, near perfect, but just so so so dull. Why not stick a few spots or tractors on the fabric? I'd value some hemp or bamboo boosters too.

Oh well.

Hello to everyone. No talk of ttc, am feeling very glum as we probably can't have another [money, not biology]. Hey ho. Will delay potty training as long as poss

nappyzoneloveschinesefood · 29/06/2010 21:50

re thebrights? is that official as i just got an official email and it had no mention of brights ?

CharlottesClan · 29/06/2010 21:53

bg said on their fb page they will be bringing them back, but they dont have a release date as such

does anyone know who it is that converts bgv3 to popper fitting? i know someone does but cant remember for the life of me!

Salbysea · 30/06/2010 20:28

can't believe I bought into the BG hype LOL kept checking for updates right till the big reveal!

Hermya321 · 30/06/2010 20:53

I was told to come over here by Mumface, I have started my fluff collection and have a little boy due in October (first kiddie winkle).

So I'm very excited and am awaiting the arrival of my first purchases from clothnappytree through the post.

LackaDAISYcal · 30/06/2010 21:06

hello all

lol at the BG v4 chat....very disappointed. And I'm with myjob on the easy to replace elastics. If the elastic wasn't notoriuos for failing in the first place . If they had magde it adjustable elastic like fuzzis OS, that would have been sooo different. And those colours....too too insipid really. They are still my favourite pocket though and the nappy I always reached for first!

No more though . tis a sad sad day in the daisy house. Having had the same issues with bumble as we did with DD (big red weals on thighs outside of nappy area) and having tried everything, we've made the decision to give up on cloth nappies altogether

Anyhoo, am going to list everything on the used nappy site or ebay (am also giving up on bumblebums, can't really promote the use of cloth when I don't myself and I just don't have the time or emotional energy (long story) to devote to it at the minute), but thought I would list here first. Am off to do the list now, so if anyone wants to have a shifty I have ittis, cushie tushies, fuzzis, BG v3, and various others to shift.

right off to catch up on the gossip and then list list list...

myjob, I never managed to vote the other night; got

LackaDAISYcal · 30/06/2010 21:07

don't know what happened there ...

should say got totally bogged down in my paperwork for the school fair and then pooter crashed Did you win?

Hermya321 · 30/06/2010 21:26

Lackadaisy When you've done the list, can you let me know or give me a link please?

LackaDAISYcal · 30/06/2010 22:27

hi hermya I will do; it's turning out to be a VERY LONG list . Congrats on your impending LO...my DS2 was an early Nov baby; lots of snuggling indoors when newborns and by the time summer comes round they are crawling around the garden; just lovely.

Yay myjob, fantastic news on the win . Things tough with DS1 at the moment; really struggling with his attitude and behaviour. He is only 8; wtf will he be like when he is a teenager

hi mumface

Hermya321 · 01/07/2010 07:35

Mumface I've got a bumgenius and some tots bots in size 1 and a wrap coming. I've also got some small bambootys as well which are coming as well. I figure that I'll get a few to see me through LO being tiny and then move onto the one sized ones. I'm going to be getting a mixture of bumgenius, lollipops pop n gro and the occasional cute cushie tushie, wee notions, blueberrys and issys to break it up a bit.

littlesez · 01/07/2010 08:07

Hi all I keep forgetting about this thread, I seem to live on clothnappytree and forget about the mn club!

I have a small but nice stash with weenotions and ittis but slowly building up my fitted stash. I have 4 plus 6 night nappies. I used to use little lambs and terry squares which were great for the breast fed newborn days

I never understood fancy fitted but now I am loving them and wool/interlock. I also now have a wahm cart selling all my favourites on there.

looking forward to chatting cloth x

treedelivery · 01/07/2010 14:10

Hello people

Just popping in to say hi, off to bed as on nights. Missing my cloth bummed one already , won't see my 2 till Saturday. Well, I will, but for 2x10 mins.

Oh well. Big waves to you all, old and new. Hermya321, sounds like a lovely selection Tots have a tiny teeny newborn nappy out. I wish I had a tiny teeny newborn to put in it, lucky you!!! Good to not have too much of any one thing, as some nappies really don't work, for some of the time. We could never use Tots, but now dd2 is longer and older, we can

Hi littlesez. Small and nice is good

TimeForANewWan · 01/07/2010 14:40

Hi. Can I join you?

After 2 weeks of trials I've my nappy stash is in the machine getting it's first prewash. I've settled with a combination of totsbots easyfit, fuzzibunz (better fit on DS than BG and lovely bold colours ), flips and few itti's. I'm very, very excited!! Yay

treedelivery · 01/07/2010 14:46

Hello dear, come on in!

How old is your ds?

have to go to sleep now but have a lovely day one and all. My dry nappies are in off the line, and the second load is on a post wash rinse Am using lots of soda crystals to try win the battle of the build up

TimeForANewWan · 01/07/2010 15:26

DS is 6 months old and I'm embarrassed that it has taken me this long to move to cloth. But as I have explained on another thread it was the pampers dry-max farce technology that finally gave me the push! I'm really glad that I've taken the plunge and DH is so supportive. (Although - he has consistently managed to put the flip on backwards during out trial - how he managed to do that I don't know )

Hermya321 · 02/07/2010 13:51

Congratulations TFANM Brilliant news!!

How you finding it so far? What nappies are you using?

CharlottesClan · 02/07/2010 14:37

daisy im interested in fuzzis let us know when you have listed them please!

ive got a friend coming round on thursday to have a look at my stash and order some nappies. we're going to have a look on cnt, and buy some new. shes due in 4 weeks but she says she wont use then for the first few weeks as she has small babies.

her other two children out pee'd a pampers in ONE HOUR. so any suggestions guys? she has a tumble dryer and a garden so drying space is not an issue.

i was thinking 2 parter and not even bother with pockets? are the tb stretchys as good as people say?

CharlottesClan · 02/07/2010 14:40

TimeForANewWan - my dd was 11 months when we switched. never ever too late :D and dont feel embarrassed. when dh was in hospital last year we used alot of disposables on dd before PTing her, sometimes life can get in the way of the best intentions

im getting the 'nappy itch' as dh calls it. i need something new and fluffy to land on my mat does anyone else get like this?
