Oh yes what better to spend it on, good for baby, mum and environment!
Just bought 2 of your favourites Rachel, Greenkids pockets. Havn't ever tried them. Do the funtimes wick much more quickly? I couldn't resist the flames!

Yipeeee!!! Well done. You deserve it

My 4 Rumparooz are here, not had time to open parcel yet.
Had a lovely dinner out with kids dad and baby then shopping (all on my own!) Went Mothercare and bought new school uniform for E and shorts & t-shirt sets for L. Then Toys r us for big play food set for L as he is an aspiring chef atm Wants to play dinners all the time! Fab weather had a lovely day.

Well done, myjob.

4andnotout · 27/06/2010 16:35

Yay myjob

Everything is same as usual here, I won a new tots easyfit which I'm waiting to arrive and ordered a pair of skulls and roses flongies from BespokeBabyRoom

Might sell my cupcake WnOS to fund a skulls and roses tutu soaker.

Almost all my ittis are scrunchy now debating on buying some easyfits to bulk the stash but Tilly-Grace is 20 mo now and no sign of a bfp yet

Scorching here today so watching the last of the footie and then will round up the kids and head for the beach and perhaps a cod and chips tea

Babybots · 28/06/2010 07:41

Hi Everyone!
Just flying in really to say hi!

Myjob well done they were lovely.
Mumface Sounds like a great day! Enjoy the Rumparooz.
4 - Oooooh must TTC harder to justify more fluff

Things all ok here, been busy eyeing up new tents for our summer holidays, Dh is getting obcessed. Been to numerous BBQ's and have a lovely tan! I love not being stuck in work all day.

Hope everyone else is ok and enjoying the sun!

CharlottesClan · 29/06/2010 10:38

hmm i posted and comp crashed.

we've been on holiday and successfully did cloth for the three days and nights. (even tho the nappies did have their own case [bush])

4 are you ttc then? i think i missed that news. very if you are!!

mumface · 29/06/2010 11:57

Well done on the cloth on holiday cc.

L has come down with chicken pox today, but he's not feeling unwell luckily, just spotty.
Said he wanted to wear pants today, nappy making spots itch. He went for a wee in the potty (still in pants!) then tried to bring it in to show me, dropped the potty, then on way back in slipped over and fell face first in the wee all over the kitchen floor. Poor lad. Made him laugh by dancing round the kitchen with a towel under my feet mopping it up!
Still none the wiser over BG new nappy. What a palava! Think you have to subscibe to cotton bottoms you tube channel at 8pm tonight our time. Does anyone get cotton bottoms e-mails?

4andnotout all my ittis are crunchy too, still functional but crunchy, my biggest gripe with them though is as the top insert shrinks with washing, the stitching sort of rises and gets hard and rubs horribly if I don't have a fleece liner tucked round it properly. They've lost their shine for me big time!

still loving coolababys and weenotions and bambooty and bamboozle stretches

mumface · 29/06/2010 17:25

Yes I used to love Itti's but had major scrunchy issues, it made me shudder handling them like when you runs nails down a blackboard....
I have a new love, it's Green kids pockets, love the fit, love the minky, like the covered velcro that doesn't go scraggy. Second love is Wee notion side snaps, then Rumparooz.

4andnotout · 29/06/2010 18:39

Salbysea thats exactly how my ittis have gone! I can still use them which is just as well as that is mainly what I've got! They just annoy me though especially as they are supposed to do more than one baby and for longer than they have

However as dp pissed off fishing last night he guiltily bought 5 pf the totsbots brights easyfits and some weenotions wipes

CC- yes we are ttc #5 but not talking about it to our families in rl as they will be negative and stroppy!

mumface · 29/06/2010 19:57

Anyone else stalking Cottonbabies on youtube for BG launch or am I the only saddo....

OP posts:
KirstyJC · 29/06/2010 20:10

Hi All, just watched the BG Youtube release and have to say I think it's a bit of a let-down.....another few colours, replaceable elastic and poppers...I suppose the poppers might be good but I was hoping for something a bit more, well, different? They all look the same still!

I think perhaps I was expecting too much!?

nappyzoneloveschinesefood · 29/06/2010 20:12

I just watched it on utube - im lost for words - a bit of a larry let down. Wonder if old colours are staying ? Seems like a bit of a stocking headache lol. Me linkes simple things to stock! Still they are a best seller so i dont suppose there was much else they can do. Good they will fit bigger babies.

mumface · 29/06/2010 20:12

Bigger, 3 new pastel colours, updated velcro (?) and in poppers too, replaceable leg elastic.
Looks exactly the same. Same inserts. Disappointed.

4andnotout · 29/06/2010 20:30

Well that was hardly a mind blowing announcement was it

I always thought BG's were a bit boring and these look no different.

CharlottesClan · 29/06/2010 21:04

im glad im not the only one really dissapointed

gutted none of the new colours are suited to BOYS tho. pale yellow and pale green wont go with any of my bright tshirts poo!

CharlottesClan · 29/06/2010 21:08

they have just announced they are bringing the brights back! hurrah!

4andnotout · 29/06/2010 21:08

Mmm i do like Zinnia, Ribbit and clementine

CharlottesClan · 29/06/2010 21:11

i will hold off ordering until then. i may order a V4 in the meantime but it wont be in the new washed out colours.

might have to ttc a girl so i can buy a lilac.
