Hi myjob and CC. I have started a very polite dispute with paypal. I feel rotton doing it, but it isn't here and hopefully the seller can claim the money on postal proof of postage.

Thanks for the nce words about H, she sure has dayglo orange hair bless her

CharlottesClan · 23/05/2010 10:48

i think that sounds fair tree. im sure its just been forgotton, or it could be lost in the post. its happened to me in the past and ive always got the item or a refund xx

i discovered this week that ive been knitting all wrong, and i need to unpick the 2 pairs of longies and shorties ive made to fix them
they were getting a bit small anyway so looking on the bright side lol!!

George is out peeing alot of my pockets atm, so switching from the microfiber to bamboo and hemp. hoping its just that the hot weather means he is bfeeding and drinking water alot more then usual.

starting planning George's special birthday nappy and tshirt today. cant believe he is one in 2 months

Morning all, am v.v. Hungover this morn

Tilly-Grace has been doing a few wee's on the toilet, she may be getting ready to toilet train

It's going to be another scorcher here today, nappies are on the line it's lovely to see!

treedelivery · 23/05/2010 11:20

Hello all.

Got my refund, I feel really tight though. I hope it turns up and I can pay her again!

just know H will potty train early, unlike sister who was nearly 3. SHe is already patting her bum when she has done a wee. I thinkthat is why she does it. It seems she wants the nappy off at anyrate. I always change her straight away so she doesn't feel uncomfy and doesn't grow to dislike her nappy.

Lovely morning everyone. Connor is looking a cool dude today in a black Itti, mini skulls t-shirt and a pirate dummy
Lewis only went to nursery on the promise of a new paddling pool on the way home from tescos
No more leaks from my easyfit, have started using them without a fleece liner and they are much better.
Went for a pocket nappy at WN in the end, lime/turquiose with ladybird and bugs scene. It's his first birthday in 3 weeks so hope it's here for then!

hello everyone

oscar is 18 days old now, and we just got rid of all the disposible nappies in the house and finally starting to use the real ones, i have to say they are easier than i thought, i can now assemble a nappy and get it on him in about half a minute, dh very impressed!, also washed some of them and perfectly clean in normal wash at 60 degrees, and i am using the prefold ones from the council, got them for next to free..., they don't leak, just look huge in such a small baby...
i wish breast feeding was so simple and straight forward...

Ellielou02 · 25/05/2010 20:13

Hi Ladies

I need some advice, Millie had thrush on her bum 2 weeks ago and it cleared about a week ago but everytime I put cloth on her she starts getting red again now I seem to remember I think it was rachelinscotland (correct me if I am wrong) having the same problem a few threads back. Rachel if you are there how did you get it cleared. Millie seems to be ok if she has a sposie on and she is ok in her Wnnn but all the day nappies I am having a problem.
I always cold rinse then 60 degree wash with non bio then either line or tumble dry! I think I will have to strip wash but I cant see how the bugs will still be on the nappies when I always hot wash. Any help greatly appreciated

Congrats on baby Oscar

mumface · 25/05/2010 20:45

Myjob- you are naughty I want one of those Monkeysnuggles now! The obv ones look rather like Wildchild nappies, are the snap in soakers similar, cause I find them really long and a faff to put together?

Congrats Alle!

Thanks all for your kind words. DD has rare genetic thing with some health problems (we already knew about her heart murmur, need to do some tests to check for other common problems), but also developmental problems and learning difficulties. She's already a bit behind in some things (particularly speaking). Feeling but fairly positive now, we just need to adjust our expectations really.

Babybots · 27/05/2010 10:31

Hi All,

Sorry been awol, had a few problems here.

Myjob, Glad you like the Monkey snuggles

Hope everyone else is well. Will go back and read and be back on top form in a few days. x

Again, am very sorry Jabula. Shout us if you need to talk/vent/whatever.

And many many congratulations alle

octothechildherder · 28/05/2010 21:45

Hello
Very quiet here - hope everyone else is okay. We need more fluffy chat ...

No fluff alerts here atm tho!

JABULA · 28/05/2010 22:14

Myjob - no, shouldn't be life limiting unless there are complications. Her heart problem is fairly minor (well, it was anyway and fc doesn't need operating... we have another heart scan booked for July). Thank Tree and everyone else. We have kind of come to terms with it really and just getting on with life - she is still our gorgeous wee girl, just found an explanation for some of her problems...

All quiet here too Octo - few parcels in customs at the moment (Sheepish Grins and Dunk n Fluff) but otherwise just plodding on.

Had a HL all in two arrive today (for us, not the shop)... but feeling bit underwhelmed with it. might sell it. Bought it on spur of moment
