if you have the money and her address i would sebd anyway- otherwise i would contact personally and arrange privately!

TheNatty: If it's Fuzzibunz that aren't lasting very long, I found that the microfibre inserts just don't last my little boy. So I always stuff them with pad folded prefolds and they work very well! Seems the microfibre lets the moisture squeeze out when they're wet, but the prefolds retain it a lot better! So might be worth a try!

TheNatty · 14/03/2009 09:11

lmao hopefully my DH is like that
have u got any terry towelling nappies? u could fold one of them and stuff it in?

night times are a pain. ive given up!

rachel the fuzzibunz are the only ones lasting about 2 hours, the others are all leaking. i will wait till i get the extra inserts and give it a week or so, before i just go out and buy a load of fuzzibunz

soon2befamilyof4 · 14/03/2009 09:19

Thanks. The silly thing is, I listed several brand new wraps on there own, but stated that I had lots of other bambino mio stuff for sale so she contacted me to ask and because she wanted 12 - I didn't have them all 100% new, but they looked new except the label was faded. As it was an auction set up specially for her, I could of actually not said that in the auction, but I worried incase she changed her mind and somebody else bought them - didn't want to say they were new if they weren't iyswim?

rusmum · 14/03/2009 09:26

soon2befamilyof4 · 14/03/2009 09:37

I will try and find it for you rusmum. ALTHOUGH when I was ordering from easy peasey the otherday, they have some liquid lanolin and free postage if thats any good? I wished I had just done that TBH.

TheNatty · 14/03/2009 09:43

i ordered boosters from them soon, thanks for pointing me in the right direction, free postage is a bonus!

soon2befamilyof4 · 14/03/2009 09:48

yes I liked the free postage too. Makes me much more likely to go back there for some more inserts if the ones I ordered yesterday are good - which they should be as they came with recommendations.

TheNatty · 14/03/2009 09:54

which ones did u get?

rusmum · 14/03/2009 09:56

shame not miore siteds have free post!

what everyone up to?

TheNatty · 14/03/2009 10:01

im getting annoyed with ellens nappies!!
last one did 50 minutes..

grr

treedelivery · 14/03/2009 10:25

I never thought of the microfibre squeezing the wee out. Hmmm. I hop ethings don't change here as bubba gets bigger - so far we aer largely leak free. I put that down to using an unstuffed fuzi bunz as a wrap over a lollipop fleece nappy or fluffy type thing. Am hoping fuzzibunz will work well as stuffables once her legs fatten up a bit.

Is it leaking after 50mins TheNatty? That sucks! Is it the nappy being fit to burst or is it a bad fit at the legs? Is the wee by passing the nappy and exiting at the leg iyswim? That happens to us in pockets at the mo.

soon2befamilyof4 · 14/03/2009 11:06

I got the easy peasy hemp inserts 5 for £10.

Off out now to collect my post which i hopefull lanolin and go to an NCT sale which wll hopefully have some nappies!!

rusmum · 14/03/2009 11:49

If i sell EVERYTHING!! all my 2 parters should bet about £150.

then could buy ittis/bbos. havent even tried yet but think i will love them.

I am too tidy minded to use 2 systems so have to have all same!

rusmum · 14/03/2009 11:50

so if you had 9 or 10 ittis how many extra inserts would you need?

TheNatty · 14/03/2009 12:49

rus
well ive got 7 pockets atm, and im ordering 5 extra boosters plus one i have already, but i would imagine if u need it to do two days between washes you might need maybe 4 exrra inserts?

im going to be doing 15 nappies plus 8 hemp/bamboo boosters and a couple of extra inserts for two babies. but then im thinking for a newborn and toddler.

tree
well ellen is now in her tots bots flexitots and she has an extra bamboo booster on top of the inserts that come with it. still really slim fitting, and so far no leaks.
this nappy leaked in 20mins yesterday
i think she is a REALLY wet baby!
so hopefully if i order enough bamboo boosters for all the nappies and just always put one in i might get on with more of the other brands.

soon i ordered the same ones! ive got on with bamboo now, so i wonder how hemp will be.

does ANYONE know which is more absorbant hemp or bamboo? whats the differance?

swampster · 14/03/2009 12:54

Hemp is probably the most absorbent natural fibre on the planet but it dries like cardboard!

TheNatty · 14/03/2009 12:56

rus im gonna sell all mine too! what are you selling and where?

TheNatty · 14/03/2009 12:58

swamp if u tumble dry it is it the same? just wondering cos microfibre is much nicer tumbled then air or radiator dried.

my pockets are fleece lined so i imagine the hemps hardness wouldnt be as bad?

swampster · 14/03/2009 13:02

Hemp is much better tumbled.

TN, were you known as natty thomas and ellen in a past life?

TheNatty · 14/03/2009 13:04

anyone want some MEOS?
i have 7 MEOS white and 5 snap in boosters
i also have 4 mothercare smart nappy boosters (which are great for boosting the ME)
i have some wraps in LG (ME a bit worn) and some new wraps (used for about a month) nature babies popper and velcro in pink gingham one of each. a ME airflow wrap in wetlands again about a month old and as new.
