And here!! I have found them to be fab. They are tiny, but my Harriet is probably about 10lb and just thinking of growing out of them. I boost with a fat homemade thing so they are probably good till 2-3 month or thereabouts if not crammed full of microfibre and fleece! So absorbant for their size. It's nice to have something petite on tiny babies. I hate clothes that hang off them, so had the same approach to nappies.

Main thing about xs Sany's is how damn cute they are.

4andnotout · 12/03/2009 20:49

I have loads of size 1 nappies cheap

I think i have 20ish itti's for 2 babies and could easily use only them, i usually wash a load every night, sometimes every other day.

SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 12/03/2009 20:59

hi all, hope you & Los are well!

Rachel - I only used XS sandy's til about 6 wks I think as I only had 4 and though S were bigger, they just about fitted. I think lollipop used them for a lot longer though. and the tie-ons look sooooooooooooooooooooo cute on, promised, we only got one, but I wished I got them when she was born... in fact, if you have some spare ones.... they're also great for bf poo containment!

got that wool soaker from UKPL by the way, it's super, just need to lanolising it as it's new

I'm sure I probably have plenty of nappies and need to stop craving more nappies! I've got 18-19 tie-on ones, so if they work like they're supposed to (and I get the hang of putting them on!), then I have enough nappies for twins at least! haha Just can't yet visualise how they'll fit on a newborn and what sort of size/shape wrap will best suit them.

swampster: I'm sure I don't need them, but just to satisfy my curiousity, how much are you wanting for your xs sandies?

thebluefoxategreensocks · 12/03/2009 21:48

SunflowerNeedsSunshine: Got my tiny striped longies too! They're soooo small (and cute!) - are newborns really that tiny? LOL (can't seem to remember!) Anyway, mine are having their first lanolising as we speak!

soon2befamilyof4 · 12/03/2009 21:57

I have got some sandys s and xs to use on the newborn when she arrives, but just trying to work out what wrap to get or keep. We have some size 0 tots bots but they are brand new and wondering if I am better off selling them while they are unused and getting some better wraps. Heard nature babies are good?

Would be interested to here more about the tie on nappies as I have thought about getting these as a back up or nappy to have on at home etc.

My main priority for the new baby is containment and slimfitting TBH. Cute is a bonus but not essential IMO.

Oh and I have dyed some of my sandys purple and am going to do some more in pink so they look even better. I didn't like the way they looked before TBH. Look much better now .

4 - I would be interested to know what cheap size 1 nappies you have? Not promising anything as we are litterally only looking for cheap nappies if they are not onesize pockets but wouldn't hurt to see what you have?

Will I need to add anything to a WNNN or is it just a nappy that you use on its own with no boosters or inserts?

And whats this about a tots bots AIO??? With fleece lining? I didn't know TB did one? Which is why I got confused when you said TB - I though it must have been standing for something else!

4andnotout · 12/03/2009 22:01

The totsbots AIO is an easyfit I have 3 now and quite like them, dd4 had a leak the other day but i dont think i had done it tight enough on the legs.

I have size 1 cotton tots in variosu colours £3 each, some sandys small, loads of airflows. They are just taking up valuable nappy room now!

treedelivery · 12/03/2009 22:14

Wish I had got some tie on's - my one nappy regret. Think 7 weeks too late?

soon2befamilyof4 · 12/03/2009 23:00

Tree - I thought you could use them for quite a while? What age do you think they are too old for them? Wondering if it is worth getting some for our new baby.

Rachel - are you pregnant? Sorry bit slow on getting to know everybody's situation!

thebluefoxategreensocks · 12/03/2009 23:12

soon: Yes - very! LOL Due 1st of April...so less than 3 weeks to go!

treedelivery · 12/03/2009 23:41

Oooo Rachel. How you doing with the bump an all?

How old your baby Soon? Mine 7 weeks, am thinking bit too old for the tie ons, but am happy to be wrong and make purchase if anyone can advise????

Have ordered thirsties wrap and nappy. Had to be done.

If any of you remeber, way back at end of Nov dh got made suddenly redundant when we were 23 weeks or so?
He got a job!! It's a 2 hour commute and crappy hours [office, where as he's used to shifts and so could do preschool runs]. But thank God all the same!!
So bought thirsties to celebrate!

soon2befamilyof4 · 12/03/2009 23:50

Tree, my DD is 14 months but I am due with my second on 22nd April.

Rachel - we might have our babies around the same time as I have been told this one might well be early!

I am just doing an order with easy peasy as I wanted some hemp insert and they have some tie ons so I have ordered one to try out. It says they are onesize, but I would imagine they probably last till either baby gets too active to faff about or you need lots of absorbancy? I am just guessing though?

soon2befamilyof4 · 12/03/2009 23:51

I have a large ME AIO that I think I am going to sell on. Bought it a week or 2 ago preloved for £4 plus postage so would like the same really. It is actually a good nappy and we are using it, but I mainly just wanted to try it out. DD is such a heavy wetter that we need pockets really, to add to the adbsorbancy. She will go about 3 hours in this though without leaks which is good for her. So not too worried if it doesn't sell. Just want some more funds for other bits!

TheNatty · 13/03/2009 00:12

soon2befamilyof4 nature babies wraps i found were brilliant. the poppered ones were much better then velcro though.

i was thinking about the new baby and what i will use in the early weeks.

ideally something all in one, as DH wont change 2 part systems, (hence my switch from motherease OS to OS pockets)

soooo which in your experiance opinions will be best? ease of use for DH and containment for me. i can compromise on looks as they are only for the early days anyway.
i have these OS already: happy heinys, fuzzibunz, wonderoo, TotsBots easyfit and bumgenious and a nature babies stuffable(on the way) any of these good on a newborn?

do i need to fill the gap before they will fit? tie ons sound interesting what are they?

to many questions i will shut up now

soon2befamilyof4 · 13/03/2009 00:31

I can't find much info on the tie ons TBH. I think they are basically a very basic, simple nappy that has string to tie it on instead of nippas etc. But needs a wrap. So I THINK they are sort of half way between a terry and a shaped nappy? Think they are quite trim though which is what I want and very fast to dry.

TheNatty - How old are you children and are you expecting too? Just trying to get my head around everybodys situations!

TheNatty · 13/03/2009 00:44

i have 2 DC, thomas who is 3 and ellen who is two in may, expecting my third in july

soon2befamilyof4 · 13/03/2009 00:49

Oh ok! Lots of nappies for you then! .

ARGH have had litterally about 5 or so people say they want to buy stuff from me today, which would have left me with plenty of PP money to do the easy peasey order and buy some other bits I want. BUT nobody has paid me! . So have left my easy peasy order at the checkout but I really want to complete asap as I need the hemp inserts! (They are 5 for £10 there by the way which I though was very good). And the tie on nappy from them is £1.60 too so I have ordered one to try (if I ever make it through checkout!). Can't go wrong for £1.60!

TheNatty · 13/03/2009 00:54

lol yes alot of nappies for me! thomas has only just trained and no longer uses during the day, but needed for night times if i ever find a sutible over night solution!

ellen i reckon will train this summer.

so i may only have one in nappies for now, planning on more babies tho

whats this site? i like the inserts they sound really cheap!

rusmum · 13/03/2009 06:46

soon pic of dyed sandys please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So 10 ittis and 10 extra inseterts? would do every other day wash??

WHere cheapest place to buy?

4andnotout · 13/03/2009 08:31

Should we all have a recap on how many sproglets we all have, just so we can all remember?
I have
Olivia-Mae 7
Elana-Rose 3 (4 on the 29th)
Maisy-Rae 17 months
Tilly-Grace 4 months

Hoping for at least 1 more baby in the not too distant future

TheNatty · 13/03/2009 08:39

Thomas - 3 in april
Ellen - 2 in May
? - due in july

having terrible trouble with my wonderoo nappy, ellen is leaking between the legs pretty much as soon as its put on.

AnnVan · 13/03/2009 09:39

Sebastian - 6months next week.
Sympathies on your pocket problem Natty. I've come to the conclusion that pockets just don't suit Seb.

TheNatty · 13/03/2009 09:43

yeah it might just be that only one brand will fit her, she has got skinny legs and the one that works (i think its FB) has adjustable elastic at the legs, which means she does get little red lines on her thighs but better that then nappy rash from the dampness.
i will stash away the others in case they suit the new baby, and buy 10 of the FB, will give them all 6 weeks though (at home only lol!) just in case.

annvan sebastian is a nice name, i might nick it

TheNatty · 13/03/2009 10:00

ok three changes in 3 hours.
im not a happy bunny
hopefully the hemp and bamboo boosters will be here soon.

soon2befamilyof4 · 13/03/2009 10:12

I will do pictures of the dyed nappies once I have dyed the next lot as I have some pink ones to do! They look great though. The ones I have done are a really deep purple.

The Natty - it was the easy peasey website I was ordering from. It is good. I was getting 5 hemp inserts, a tie on nappy and 2 packs of fleece wipes and it came to £15!! Bargain I say!

I have already done this I think but as we are going down that route:
I have Elouise who is 14 months old and I am due on 22nd April with a second. Apparently number 2 is a girl too. Better be as she now has pink/girly nappies!!

I have just had an email from somebody interested in buying £65 worth of bambino mio wraps! Hope she takes them as I can do more nappy shopping!
