I don't think it was overstuff swampster. Minkis are meant to be good for loads of stuffing and it was only 2 inserts? I have used a prefold AND booster in it before and it wasn't overstuffed and this isn't anywhere near as big.

swampster · 11/03/2009 14:45

Maybe it wasn't stuffed full enough and she managed to pee through the unstuffed bits?

AnnVan · 11/03/2009 14:50

4 could I have one of your pop-ins to try?
I need to get some more nappies.
Not because I don't have enough, but because I need another fix of fluffy post. Haven'thad any in a while

AnnVan - know the feeling all too well.

4andnotout · 11/03/2009 14:59

Ann i think i have white, green or blue left,5quid plus post.

Just bought a cheetah blueberry wrap for dd3, still need to get enough to get some size 1 flexitots for dd4. She is a tiny miny so will need size 1 for a while yet.

AnnVan · 11/03/2009 15:01

ok 4 I will take a green one if that's ok Will have to wait for DP to get back tonight so I can use his pp account.
Err... thatwill mean telling him I've agreed to buy a new nappy

4andnotout · 11/03/2009 15:06

Ok, will try to post tommorow, if not it will be friday, is that ok?

soon2befamilyof4 · 11/03/2009 15:09

TBH the inserts were both sopping wet So think it will have to be another insert. Just don't want her to be uncomfortable because of the bulk.

I have 2 minkis so will give the other a try tonight - will see how much I can put in!

4andnotout · 11/03/2009 15:16

DD3 is 16 months and in her bumhugger she has both parts of a wonderfuls mf insert, and a hemp trifold insert, and it is completely sopping in the morning. It must weigh about 3lbs in the morning!!

ceb80 · 11/03/2009 15:53

I had given up looking for 2nd hand greenkids, typical!

soon2befamilyof4 · 11/03/2009 16:20

4 - does it stay all in the nappy though? I have a bumhugger on the way from TLEs to try at nights. And a WNNN and I am currently looking for an Upsey daisey night nappy too! Then I can see what works best with us and hopefully get rid of the sposies all together! How bulky is that on your DD3 too 4?

I might be selling my newborn tots bots wraps (size 0) if anybody is interested before they go on ebay? Brand new.

AnnVan · 11/03/2009 16:41

4 that's fine.
God just had a scary moment - Seb just choked on a chunk of Farley's rusk. Had to stick my finger in and hoik it out. He was properly choking!

thebluefoxategreensocks · 11/03/2009 16:51

There usually seem to be quite a few Green Kids for sale on the Cloth Tots board. They're not exactly cheap tho - certainly not with a GK insert! But then again, quite a few of you like fancy/expensive nappies anyway! LOL

swampster · 11/03/2009 17:04

I got mine for £6.75 each with the boosters [gloats]

soon2befamilyof4 · 11/03/2009 18:32

What are these green kids you are all talking about? I have never heard of them? Am I missing out on something?

And what is cloth tots board? Off to google it.

swampster · 11/03/2009 18:45

Greenkids! they are very nice! And clever BTP folding that works.

soon2befamilyof4 · 11/03/2009 18:48

ohhhhh they do look good!! Do they actually fit from birth?

AnnVan · 11/03/2009 18:57

oooh they do look nice! sadly with my experience of pockets I'm rather reluctant to invest.
Will have to borrow one off someone

swampster · 11/03/2009 19:05

They are fitting my tiny seven-pounder very nicely indeed - as are BG BTPs. And he looked lovely in his wee Itti.

The Greenkids coped admirably with a big poo explosion earlier

4andnotout · 11/03/2009 20:04

soon she sometimes has a leak if she isn't changed straight away or if she drinks more in the night, and yes it is hugely bulky But her bum is actually dry due to the fleece inner.

rusmum · 11/03/2009 20:25

anyone selling a bbh or wnnn???

swampster · 11/03/2009 20:32

Here is a GK Anytimes (no insert).

swampster · 11/03/2009 20:34

soon Upsy Daisy here...

rusmum · 11/03/2009 20:43

rusmum · 11/03/2009 20:44
