I am fluffisfied (temporarily).

I have a brand new Itti! It is small and fluffy and chocolatey!

And four of these (not new, but in lovely condition).

ceb80 · 10/03/2009 19:45

swampster be interested to hear how you find the Greenkids as I think they sound great but no one seems to talk about them much! Which ones did you get?

swampster · 10/03/2009 20:15

Ceb, I got two Anytimes and two Minkytimes (zebra and giraffe! I was brave enough to get them because Nappyzone sells them and swears by them, even for nights!

thebluefoxategreensocks · 10/03/2009 20:20

rusmum: The airflows on ebay were actually patterned, just not the newest prints!

rusmum · 10/03/2009 20:36

rachel DOH!!

4andnotout · 10/03/2009 22:14

I had a greenkids anytimes with the cotton outer and couldn't get on with it because dd3 is such a heavy wetter. Although i have switched her from a bottle to a cup during the day now which has stopped her drinking 9oz every 30 mins of the day
Tried a large blueberry wrap on dd3 today and it was a much better fit, so dd4 has inherited the 2 mediums and i shall try and get 1 more cheapy large for dd3. Then i shall try and shift some more airflows, i have a huge bag of nappies sitting under the cot not being used but if i reduce them anymore i'll be giving them away
Cant believe my pop in's didn't sell for a £5 each!

Hi everyone,

had a foamy poo incident that no nappy on earth could have dealt with. Poor Harriet, am going to try a lactose free diet to see of taht helps [right after this milky coffee dh has made me is finished, Oh, and the cream cake is gone, and the KitKats.....]

Soon - Sandy's are the answer to all leaks, rashes and nappy issues in general, So far on my 6 week bubs. I haven't used the ME wraps so much as yet, as the elastic leaves marks and I'm still a bit cautious with her very new skin. I use itti bitti d'lish and fuzzibunz, un stuffed, as wraps wchich is decadent but what the hey!
Think it was evenstar who said the cream ones [organic? unbleached?] are softer, which I can confirm in my experience.
My only prob with the Sandy's is keeping them soft, our water is hard hard hard, so I put white vinegar in the wash. Realistically though I have to tumble them, so they are kept for times when I know I can't change often. I can leave a Sandy's on for a good 4-6 hours if I have too, with my mum's super boosters.

Long term it will be all about microfibre pocket stuffing action and fleece nappies for us I think. I'm finding the lollipop fleece elastic a bit narrow and harsh around the waist. It feels like elastic string rather than a flat piece of elastic.

swampster at your new itti. Harriet about to outgrow her tiny teeny to weep over red small itti. I love that nappy. It's a real love that makes me sigh and smile.

swampster · 10/03/2009 22:34

Gosh tree, is she just six weeks? Mine is five weeks but it felt like a lifetime when I was still pregnant and you weren't!

I have a dozen BGs which were a lovely pressie from my big brother in the States. They are the backbone of my stash and are fantastic even on my teeny tiny seven-pounder. And a couple of BBOSs [sigh] and now my Greenkids and Itti [swoon]... And a whole bunch of unloved two-parters from back in the day... And some BBHs for DS2 at night... And some nappies that I used to love for DS2 before he decided potties were fun.

Looking forward to getting some Wee Notions when DS3 is big enough to warrant special night nappies.

I heart my stash!

treedelivery · 10/03/2009 22:46

She's 7 on Thursday but I'm trying to hang onto time! I refuse to let her age until the actual day. I'm very sad .
I know exactly what you mean Swampy, about the time thing. It's the strange time warp of pregnancy and new babyhood isn't it. Days so crawled back then, now time is galloping by. I had this after dd1, where I feel torn in two. I want to slow down, go back, savour everything - but then I want her to grow and develop [and get the hell out of this colic thing that's going on!].

So, I need to check out the green kids thing as I don't know about those! And BBOS? Not up on the abbreviations! BBh are bumhuggers?

swampster · 10/03/2009 22:49

Blueberry One Size, Baby Beehinds. Greenkids were a second hand bargain - Nappyzone sings their praises highly so it would have been rude not to try them.

treedelivery · 10/03/2009 22:50

Oh good grief now I have to have, right now, some Greenkids. How you finding them? I have to have that snail pattern, my dd1 is all into snails and it would assist bonding between them and is therefore completely justifiable.

I have a parcel at the postoffice - could it be my freebie nappy from way back when??? That would rock.

Apologies for double post

treedelivery · 10/03/2009 22:51

See I don't even have a baby beehinds. That can't be right.

4andnotout · 10/03/2009 22:59

Nor do i I keep thinking maybe i need one or a wnnn

swampster · 10/03/2009 23:02

The snail print one is a Funtimes - I think they are less reliable than the Anytimes and Minkytimes.

I have 10 BBH

But I still need a WNNN!

treedelivery · 10/03/2009 23:13

Have looked into BBh - think our hard water and lack of tumble drying would ruin them. So you should get some 4, cos I can't!

It's good the print is less reliable than the minkytimes and anytimes. Justifies the purchase of more than one.....I like the look of the minky in particular. Oh so many colours!

Has anyone got thirsties wraps nappies or AIO? They look quite good on kittykins but then I'm a novice and all nappies look ace to me .

swampster · 11/03/2009 09:33

I have a tiny Itti Bitti boy! Gorgeous fluffy chocolate bum. They are much cuter in small than large - and large are pretty cute. Not seen a medium - YET!

I got to stroke a Thirsties AIO the other day - they certainly look the business.

I have the Minkytimes in giraffe and zebra and they are cute as - will try them next.

treedelivery · 11/03/2009 09:44

Swampster you have some coooooool nappies. Yay! Go on....get a thisties. You know it makes sense.

soon2befamilyof4 · 11/03/2009 11:53

Hello.

Well DD woke up this morning soaked after I tried her in a minki pocket over night, stuffed with a bamboo insert - 8 layers! AND a blueberry combo insert which is hemp topped with microfibre! She was completly soaked! And that was very bulky on her so not sure about putting yet another insert/booster in? Don't want her to be too uncomfortable?

Does anybody else sell on ebay? I hadn't bothered really till I saw a bambino mio wrap on there the other day going for £4+ and £2 postage! I have lots of brand new BM wraps so decided to go for it. I have a NB, med and Large on there and at the moment, one bid at 99p but still have till sunday. If they all go for a good price I will keep listing them and should be able to get some lovely nappies! Have a WNNN on the way.

If anybody sees an upsey daisy night nappy preloved - can you send me in the right direction please?

Need to get off her now and go and sort out my bombsite of a kitchen

swampster · 11/03/2009 13:57

Could your minki have been overstuffed to the point that it caused wicking, soon?

swampster · 11/03/2009 14:25

I love my Minkytimes giraffe nappy! The insert is a bit ginormous for my little fella so I've stuffed it with a BG insert. It is a really nice fir and clever design.
