Which ones from that link have you all bought? Did you get the ones you wanted? We have got 4!

thebluefoxategreensocks · 07/03/2009 11:25

LOL Wasn't trying to make anyone spend money! But I'm sure someone was asking about wool earlier in the day, so I thought I should pass on a tip to find some bargain brand new woolies! Can't pass up a bargain myself! And since I'd already bought some secondhand ones from the lady (twice!) I knew they were good quality!

Yes, I got the pair I wanted!!! The top pair in the ad - a tiny pair of striped longies! awww - now I can't wait for baby to arrive!

swampster · 07/03/2009 11:51

soon2befamilyof4 · 07/03/2009 11:53

Which ones was it you wanted swampster?

swampster · 07/03/2009 11:58

Tiny bottle green ones . Have you come to gloat at my miserable misfortune?

ilovemydogandMrObama · 07/03/2009 11:59

The verb: to snaffle. I snaffle, you snaffle, we all snaffle

Oh and wanted to ask a bit of advice about my ME airflows. I have too many in large and wanted to either swap them for other sizes or sell them. But I don't know how good they all are as they vary in condition. I wouldn't want to sell them and somebody be disapointed. I don't think they will but I don't know. I have never used them myself, I bought some brand new ones recently and then found a whole load of them stashed away from when DD was tiny so now have too many. I would like to keep the new ones really as my DD is just about in large and then will have DD2 in them later on down the line. So the others are all second hand, and not been used by me. Is there any way I can test out the waterproofing or anything easily? Or is there any easy way of telling how old they are? Could do with the money from the sales if there is nothing wrong with them. They look fine to me, but I am not fussy at all!

swampster · 07/03/2009 12:20

Short of trying them all out a few times, there's nothing you can do but sell them on and hope for the best. I have one leaky Airflow which looks almost new, and had a couple of Airflows that were so washed out you could no longer see the prints but never leaked.

soon2befamilyof4 · 07/03/2009 12:46

Oh ok, think we might have to start using the old ones to see then. It is annoying as I have quite a lot and wanted to get selling sooner than that really!

TheLadyEvenstar · 07/03/2009 12:55

soon or swap them with someone who has something you want lol

drlove8 · 07/03/2009 14:08

FLUFFY POST! . thats me got the berryplush and the cow print blueberry . have been sat here stroking them( who needs pets eh?) .when would be the best time to use them, day nappy or night nappy? the blueberry has a pocket, is that for extra boosters? ,the berry doesnt but insert is hemp.????. anyone use hemp? is it good for wee?. sorry about all the questions , but these are quite different from my other nappies,( tots cottons/fluffles)so need advice........ still waiting on jaguar print..... dd will look like pebbles flintstone in it!

swampster · 07/03/2009 14:22

I use pockets at night on my tiny guy but I wouldn't on the toddley one - he's too darn WET!

swampster · 07/03/2009 14:23

Jaguar and cheetah are my favourites.

swampster · 07/03/2009 14:26

If you don't stuff your Blueberry pocket it will have zero absorbency.

Hemp is super-absorbent but tends to go very cardboardy in the wash.

swampster · 07/03/2009 14:27

I want fluffy post

TheLadyEvenstar · 07/03/2009 14:39

Swamp me too

drlove8 · 07/03/2009 14:42

what do i stuff pocket with?

swampster · 07/03/2009 14:54

Blueberries come with a bamboo and microfibre insert... Did you buy it new?

drlove8 · 07/03/2009 15:01

yes i got from nappy needs! it came with the insert, but seems very thin. surely that alone cant be enough to cope with my champion pee-er toddler?

swampster · 07/03/2009 15:13

Give it a couple of washes, try it and report back. I think it looks giNORmous for my tiny fella and have been using smaller inserts!

cyteen · 07/03/2009 15:15

2 lots of fluffy post for me today although my flushable liners from Bumfluff were missing and Nappyzone spelt my name wrong again...oh well.

drlove8 · 07/03/2009 15:22

so i have to wash them first then? the same as cotton nappies?.oh cyteen who does the best flushy liners,? i got some tots bots ones but they tend to bunch up and its driving me NUTS not nice to end up with poo on my lovely nappies!-- ok, i know thats what they are made for , but still........
