hello, has anyone heard from BBM recently? Is she ok?

soon2befamilyof4 · 05/03/2009 12:59

Cyteen - what sort of poo does your LO have? If it is fairly hard, a fleece liner should be fine and the poo should just fall off? we use a mixture of fleece and disposable, depending on what the poo is like! As long as it isn't too soft though, I definatly prefer fleece.

cyteen · 05/03/2009 14:12

Aha...we're in the early stages of weaning atm so it's across the whole poo spectrum from liquid to log (sorry, TMI). I do have a fleece liner knocking around so I'll try it with an Itti

i fancy trying some flexitots i think!!

still need aomething for night too!

cyteen · 05/03/2009 14:31

i really like them rusmum - absorbent but quite slim, certainly the slimmest of all my 2 parters.

Hopefully · 05/03/2009 14:37

Hmm... Think I might buy another itti today. Really want to use them full time during the day, but only have just over a day's worth (3 nappies, 6 inserts), so not enough to wash, dry and get back on the next day. Also, because they're so small it takes ages to fill a bucket, so really need more than one more, but think I'll have to cope with using the odd bamboozle for a while yet! Hoping he'll be able to be in a large on the smallest popper in a couple of months - somewhat optimistic as he's fairly slim, but you never know.
Hmmm.... yellow, rockmelon or royal blue? Thinking yellow, as I already have turquoise and peppermint, so enough bluey ones for now! Also will be easy to find some appropriate coloured wool to knit some matching leg warmers. I'm off to John Lewis and Hobbycraft on saturday to find some wool that matches, and I might order some lovely multi-shade wool online to do some self striping ones if it's a success.

So glad I started knitting again, I'd forgotten how much I enjoy it! I may finish off the jumper I started to knit for T before he was born - it'll probably be too small for him, but perhaps I can take a photo of it and put it up for sale when I sell my spare bamboozles/unwanted night nappies.

4andnotout · 05/03/2009 16:30

My pop in arrived today, typical as im trying to sell al my others

thebluefoxategreensocks · 05/03/2009 16:36

ooh, more pop in nappies being delivered! How long ago did you apply for one? Just wondering if I'll be fortunate enough to get one!

4andnotout · 05/03/2009 17:09

I applied when it first was advertised on here, in the letter that came with my nappy it said there were loads more available and to tell my friends and family.

thebluefoxategreensocks · 05/03/2009 17:11

oh I see! If there are loads more available, then they had better send me one!!!!! I applied 1-2 months ago! lol

McDreamy · 05/03/2009 17:11

How do you apply for one or is it too late?

SparklyGothKat · 05/03/2009 17:15

Can I jump in and ask how to stop leaks at night? Ds2 keeps leaking..

rusmum · 05/03/2009 17:19

i want to apply for 1 too

4andnotout · 05/03/2009 17:24

Go to the close baby website and follow the link there

I also have 3 for sale £5 each

4andnotout · 05/03/2009 17:24

SGK what nappy/wrap booster combo are you using?

ilovemydogandMrObama · 05/03/2009 17:31

Why selling pop-ins? Isn't it the marmite type nappy (i.e. love it or hate it?)

4andnotout · 05/03/2009 17:45

They are not getting used, i prefer my ittis and bbos so these get shifted to the bottom of the pile Im also trying to save enough to buy a new snunkie hood for my P&T so have to make sacrifices of the nappy variety

McDreamy · 05/03/2009 18:10

I am trialling some motherease new born at the moment - just to see if I can do the reusable nappy thing, but I am getting more and more intrigued by the Itti's and think I will be purchasing them once DD is a bit bigger (and I have proved to myself I can do it!!)

ilovemydogandMrObama · 05/03/2009 18:12

I have a P & T -- snookie hood? Do I need one?

swampster · 05/03/2009 18:12

Today I have been playing in the reviews section.

Do you guys realise no one has reviewed Ittis or Blueberries? Well, I've done BBOSs now, waiting to see if my rave review will get past MNHQ.

I think you addicts have work to do...

swampster · 05/03/2009 18:14

Please do yourself a favour and get a BumGenius and a Blueberry while you are at it, McD.

4andnotout · 05/03/2009 18:22

snunkie
i already have footmuff, padded seat liner, stay put blanket, harness straps and have 2 pillows on order all in pink fleece with big white spots

swampster · 05/03/2009 18:45

4, I hope you don't mind my saying it, but you are a loon, lady!

4andnotout · 05/03/2009 18:47

Why?

I cant help my addictions..

swampster · 05/03/2009 19:04

I want to see a picture of your buggy.
