Hopefully · 04/03/2009 10:14

'Fess up Drlove, you are loving the opportunity to buy new nappies!

I have just finished sewing my longies up, they are so cute! Despite right leg being 1cm longer than left
DS is, of course, asleep, so I'm going to stick them on him as soon as he wakes for a try on, then wash and lanolise them.
Going to do some research of sock yarn today and start knitting my leg warmers soon. Ooh, might order a new itti as well, since I have some money in the bank.

ilovemydogandMrObama · 04/03/2009 12:18

Motherease training pants?

(that I happen to have available in size small)

Just don't ask about what pattern it is as it's either Asia or Savannah and don't have the brain space to work it out...

mumoftoby · 04/03/2009 13:45

swampster thank you for the bbh. It arrived today and looks great. I can't believe how quickly it arrived - esp. considering you have a newbie! They're fairly heavy aren't they. The blue is perfect for DS2!

soon2 DS2 is 9 months and i am still a bit spaced out. Was also asked if I was preggers last week - it was mortifying explaining that the lumpy tum should have disappeared months ago!

drlove8 · 04/03/2009 14:47

im awaiting a new arrival via fluffy post!- the jaguar print blueberry!!!!! im so excited....i found a large new one on ebay! £ 18 including postage!

drlove8 · 04/03/2009 14:59

ilovemydogandMrObama · 04/03/2009 15:15

Swampster puts the rest of us to shame...

mumtotoby Had a similar experience on Saturday... DP called the ambulance and I was holding DS.... The ambulance driver said that DS needed to be taken to Children's urgently, but that they could wait long enough for me to change my top (that had been puked on...) So, asked my mom if I could wear her sweater on the couch and she said (wait for it) '... it won't fit over your tummy...'

Bloody thing did

Am seriously liking the pop ins....

Got another nappy delivery this morning! I had lots of pockets but not enough inserts for them all to be in constant use so ordered some bargain ones from babykind in the reduced section. Bit confused by them all though - how do I know what is what? Do I need to wash them several times before use? They didn't have any instructions? They are going in the nappy bucket now but just wondering if I need to wash more than once?

I also ordered some snap in boosters for my MEOS - I can't believe I didn't know they existed! I got 5 of the stay dry ones which should work well.

I really, really need to stop buying nappies or we are going to end up in debt! Seriously they are too morish!

Got 3 ME sandys too - XS ones so should fit baby straight away once we get home from hospital. DOes anybody know the best wrap for Sandys? I also have some small ones and smalls on the way from rusmum so if I could get a wrap that would last both sizes that would be better. These were also from the bargain section of babykind.

I also got a small stuffables by nature babies. Didn't come with an insert as it was a bargain one too - anybody know what would be best for it? It is very nice looking though - pink bubbles.

soon2befamilyof4 · 04/03/2009 15:53

I am just thinking - I am sure I bought another minkee from somebody on here from the for sale board. But I can't find the details. I know I haven't recieved it yet, but it might be my fault as I am being so forgetful! Was in anybody from this thread? It was pink with a sheep and I think I had bought something else too?

I have a 1 year old as well as being 8months pregnant which is my excuse for having extra dumb baby brain!

SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 04/03/2009 16:50
