DRLOVE Are you sure you didn't sabotage the pail

I applied for one of the pop ins but never got one, just as well really as im trying to sell mine My friend has taken the last 3 and a bbos home to try with a view to buying them from me Now we just have to convince her sil that she needs my totsbots...

DD3 has out-weed all her itti's today and everyday since thursday She is teething a drinking juice by the gallon and no nappy can keep up! We are going to have to cut down the bottle use and give it to her in a doidy cup as im worried about her teeth rotting and faling out!

I keep seeing night notions for sale everywhere and they are so tempting, but i already have 8 bumhuggers for nightimes and don't really need anymore...

I didn't realise that we aren't allowed to ask for gifted pp on CNT anymore, probably due to the dodgy sellers who take your money and run

SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 03/03/2009 16:35

no gifted pp? will have to change my add then and put the prices up...

hopefully, sure your surname is not stepford

DR love, confess all, YOU added the red pants to buy more nappies!!

ilovemydogandMrObama · 03/03/2009 17:22

Please tell me about the downfalls of Pop-Ins (where is Essie?) as I'm starting to fall in love....

They seem to fit perfectly on DS... He's smiling again which is such a relief as he wasn't very happy being in hospital, although did flirt with the nurses.

what is the difference between a pop in pocket and stuffable??? dont get it.

anyone getting rid onf any newborn nappies cheap or FFP?

My plan is to try and get 1 of different types to give a friend to try real nappies- i thought i could them pass in to nmetter to try FFP and they could pass it on FFP etc etc etc.............

soon2befamilyof4 · 03/03/2009 18:29

That is a good idea rusmum - when is she due or does she already have her baby? I need all my newborn nappies at the moment as ours is due next month but if she isn't due till after I have finished with them, I am sure I can sort out a few FFP (Although I have to actually find the ones I have first! Starting to panic a bit!).

soon2befamilyof4 · 03/03/2009 18:34

Actually, thinking about it I MIGHT be able to find a bambino mio prefold, with a wrap etc to sent FFP BUT I would have to send it when I am going to the postoffice anyway as mine is usually a half hour que, after I have managed to find and pay for parking in the town centre and is just so much hassle, I can't really do it for FFP things specially iyswim? I am going tomorrow though so providing I can find them (I def know where a newborn bambino mio wrap is, it is just finding a newborn prefold) you would be welcome to it for postage cost?

thebluefoxategreensocks · 03/03/2009 20:11

ilovemydogandMrObama: Wow, good for you getting a free nappy in the post! I also applied for the Pop In, but probably a bit later than most, so doubt I'll get it. Would still love to get one though!

mumoftoby · 03/03/2009 20:23

ilmd thank you for the sandys. They arrived today and are so cute but I can't really describe why - it's a shame wrap has to go over them.

drlove8 · 03/03/2009 20:58

lol i didnt add the red pants, but will remember that one for when i get an urge to buy more nappies! . anyway i did the nappies on a cold wash and some of the dye has came out, not enough though .

rusmum · 03/03/2009 21:05

friend is ude in 3 weeks!! Yes please to BM wrap- i have loads pf prefolds though, any one else?? LOL

I just got a realy snotty message on UKPL. I haves sold loads of bits lately and got this message "I think you had better refund my money, dont you?"

Now i have no idea who this is what she bought or what the problem is!!

I checked my paypal and refunded her her £1.50- but am still clueless. if it was omsthing that didnt arrive i have pop- some people have no manners.

4andnotout · 03/03/2009 21:08

I wouldn't have refunded until i found out what the problem was she was probabl chancing her arm.

I have some newborn and size 1's but cant do them ffp but nothing is over £3.

soon2befamilyof4 · 03/03/2009 21:14

Rusmum - I will get the Bambino mio wrap sent out to you. Do you think a first class stamp on an envelope would cover one wrap? If so, I can just do it via the post box.

I wouldn't have refunded the money either, I think that is awful! Are you sure the person doesn't use this forum too by the way?

Whats UKPL like? I have never been on it before. Do you sell things in the same way as on here and CNT?

rusmum · 03/03/2009 21:20

she may use here i dont know?? i wouldnt have made myself look stupid for £1.50!!

Hopefully · 03/03/2009 21:26

Woopeeee! Have finished the knitting, just need to sew my longies together. Have somehow ended up with one leg a cm longer than the other, have absolutely no idea why, but I figure he'll only be wearing them at night, and it's my first effort! I want to knit another pair now, perhaps with stripes! Will see how my first effort copes after a few lanolisings first though.

ilovemydogandMrObama · 03/03/2009 21:30

mumoftoby Am so pleased you like them! I think the attraction of Sandy's is the simplicity. They aren't flash, but reliable. And thank you for your patience as it took me ages to get them to you...

Am loving the Pop In... Am going to put it on as a night nappy...

Anyone heard from Treedelivery ?

OP posts:
swampster · 03/03/2009 21:35

We want pictures, Hopefully.

I love Sandy's too. DS3 is divine in his XSs.

I was wondering where Tree got to too...

swampster · 03/03/2009 21:45

Those nice bright Baby Beehinds wraps are on cheapish on Amazon again. £4.99 plus £1.50 postage. I want one but can't really justify it - I have loads of Airflows and I use mainly BGs and BBOSs now .

soon2befamilyof4 · 03/03/2009 22:03

Thats good to know Sandys are popular, I have just bought some from rusmum! I do have 2 I think but never really used them when DD1 was tiny, think they didn't look great so just didn't bother. But regret it now as everybody seems to love them!

What all this about a free MB pop in??

swampster · 03/03/2009 22:08

There was an offer on their website - for AGES - and loads of people signed up, and many months later when no one had seen a pop in we were all wondering if it was all a big scam to get our nappy-addicted details... But it seems they are starting to deliver.

soon2befamilyof4 · 03/03/2009 22:23

Don't suppose it is still on? Lol. They sent me 2 free tickets to the baby show last week which was advertised on their website. Sent first class the day I emailed!

mumoftoby · 03/03/2009 22:28

rusmum - how awful of them to jump down someone's throat without explaining why? You were too kind I wouldn't have refunded either without knowing what the problem was.

I hope I get a pop-in but I probably signed up too late - only a few weeks ago.

I think the Sandys are just simple and back to basics of what babies look cute in.

drlove8 · 03/03/2009 22:39

ilovemydog... i was wondering about Tree too!, no doubt she's busy with her sapling ...hope they're doing well.
