It all happens at once:

DS leaked through his nappy, pjs, his bed, my bed And then DD leaked through her Sandy's overnight and her sheets, duvet etc...

The dog is ill and had to clean up after him.

Am going to put DS back into his BBH and DD into her Motherease Bedwetter pants this evening... (bumgenius doesn't cut it as a night nappy)

lollipopmother · 17/02/2009 19:01

Oh dear ILMD, that is awful, I am yet to have my first leak but I'm not looking forward to it at all. I was really tempted to use my Disana wool wrap tonight but it's only been lanolised twice so I'm not going to risk it for exactly that reason, can't be dealing with a soaked baby and having to do a full change in the middle of the night.

My WNNN have been brilliant so far, I think they still need to get a little bit of absorbency up but so far I'm very impressed. DD went to bed with a horrid red bum, so I stuck some Canesten and Bepanthen on before bed (I always do this) and this morning her bum was still totally dry and NO redness at all , AND it's still not red, I am shocked. I know it won't last though.

lolipop Elizabeth is totally gorgeous!

lollipopmother · 17/02/2009 20:50

ILMD and 4 Thanks! She IS gorgeous I think, but then I am seriously biassed! My DP bought me a swanky camera a while back and I can't stop using it to take pics of her, my facebook is full to the brim, I'm addicted to taking pics of her! Everyone says she looks like DP, certainly I don't think she looks like me.

ILMD The top is part of a painfully expensive set, it's a Humphrey's Corner velvet dress and cardigan from Mothercare.

Hmmm, I'm wondering where my profile pic went of me and DD.

It wont let me upload any pictures to my profile tonight for some reason

lollipopmother · 17/02/2009 21:13

I've just had a right palaver putting one up as a profile picture, but it is up now so maybe try again 4?

Elizabeth does look like a mini (very pretty) version of your DP Lollipop, which is funny, considering how 'blokey' he looks and how pretty she is!

4andnotout · 17/02/2009 21:25

Nope it still wont let me

4andnotout · 17/02/2009 21:27

Wanted to put the pic on my profile of dd3 in her "babylegs" and tots wrap, i love how chunky her legs look.

lollipopmother · 17/02/2009 21:43

Hopefully - I think it is lucky she looks like him otherwise Giada may have had to fly into action when he randomly turned up at our meet up the other day!

drlove8 · 17/02/2009 22:36

i really really want to get photos up on my profile but i dont know how! help me out here!

thebluefoxategreensocks · 17/02/2009 22:59

rusmum: Well, not everyone gets on with pockets/aios - or at least not always! I've kinda gone full circle and come back to using two parters - mainly natural fibre fitteds & wool. But everyone is different - I've tried quite a few pockets, but really the only ones I've got on with were Fuzzibunz and Wonderoos - and really only when they're stuffed with prefolds! But then again, I have a very heavy wetting little boy. Though I've had enough leaks with pockets on my daughter as well - so not just my big boy! lol Recently got some Bumgenius v2s and I quite like the fit of them - though think I'd only want them to be stuffed with something like a prefold. In my experience, I just really don't get on well with microfibre in pockets. Still love Fuzzibunz though - they'll be my all time favourite pocket I think. But 2 part system is better for my little boy - less easy for him to get his hands inside his nappy! As hands in nappy, end up meaning soaking wet clothes and sore skin from scratching.
....we'll see what I end up liking for bump (baby #3 to be in cloth! ) but my stash is really made up of just about all fitted/shaped nappies.

drlove8 · 17/02/2009 23:39

ive done it , some of my photos are up! , now go look at my wee wrap and give me some opinions please! lol.

swampster · 18/02/2009 00:43

It looks really lovely, drlove8, as do your littlies.

drlove8 · 18/02/2009 00:51

aw thanks swampster, ( not all the kids are uploaded yet.)ive still to do the aplix and see how it works......still got my eye on that blueberry, (actually any blueberry) and needing to get some size 3 nappies as dd4 wont fit her size 2's much longer!.who does big cloth?

swampster · 18/02/2009 01:00

I have just seen these and am developing a lusting for them! Cheaper than blueberries...

swampster · 18/02/2009 01:03

Have you had a look at Minkis drlove?

swampster · 18/02/2009 01:03

And go to bed - I am about to!
