Swampster - Blueberry's are sooo gorgeous aren't they! I love the sound of the B-AIO and the bamboo Blueberry, I much prefer bamboo to hemp.

But Lollipop in my defence, it's all your fault. You went waving that lovely brightly coloured stash of nappies under my nose!

swampster · 15/02/2009 22:57

Did you ever find your large Airflows, littlelamb? I have a fair few kicking about in various conditions ranging from GUC to really dreadful (but someone still sold them to me ). But I don't use Fluffles any more.

SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 15/02/2009 23:51

at hopefully!! told you that once you start you can't stop...

mum arrived yesterday and she likes ittis too!! trying to convince her making me some longies for next size...

Oh, I meant to say Sunflower thanks for suggesting the nappy stripping technique last week - did the whole wash, soak in vinegar, wash, rinse until clear, and it's made a massive difference to absorbency and softness of the bamboozles!

thebluefoxategreensocks · 16/02/2009 15:56

TheLadyEvenstar: how much are you asking for your size 2 Tots? ...oh, I'm forgetting I decided to ban myself from any more nappy purchases (after counting my total stash ) but nappy shopping is too addicting! Then again, if you end up with any left over Tots that no one buys, you could always send a couple of them as replacements for the Fuzzi Bunz that went missing/got lost in the post!

TheLadyEvenstar · 16/02/2009 16:02

Rachel,

I shall pop a couple in the post to you, OH and did you not get my email? The fuzzi's turned up after me moaning at the post office.....in my next days post! on saturday just gone!!!! So i shall get them back in the post to you on wednesday!!!! along with 2 tots. I have also got 19 size 1 tots, and far too many a few other nappies that i don't need as i need bigger ones for my fatsooooooo average baby lol. he is 36lb

thebluefoxategreensocks · 16/02/2009 16:15

No, didn't get any email - but my email has been acting a bit funny - someone on AOL tried to email me some photos last week & sent them twice & they never came! annoying! Wonder what the post office was doing with your parcel - strange u got it so quickly after complaining! And ohh, no need to send double nappies - just thought if the others were gone, some Tots always come in handy...esp under wool! Thanks - look forward to getting parcel. xx

TheLadyEvenstar · 16/02/2009 16:24

Rachel,
Yes strange indeed but i will pop the tots an fuzzis in the post this week when i get some dosh lol

Just posting for a friend (the one who's lending me the BBH to try) - she's got a load of BBHs to sell soon, as her bigger DC1 is just about potty trained, and she wants to get new and exciting nappies for her DC2, but she has no idea what kind of price to ask. They've had a good 18 months' use (she bought them new), but have been well cared for over that time, she says. There's a variety of colours. Does anyone have any ideas what kind of price she should ask for?
She's asked me to do first refusal on here once I've chosen a couple to buy myself (if I get on with them), as she wants rid of them quickly - but needs to get a fair price as she's rather broke!

rusmum · 16/02/2009 20:15

*hopefully i would be interested but not seen any preloved so dont know what is fair?? A good state preloved nappy £5??

What everyone else think?

ceb80 · 16/02/2009 20:54

hopefully i would also be interested in a couple of BBH, sorry not sure about price tho

lollipopmother · 16/02/2009 21:34

Hopefully - If they're in good condition I'd go for £7, they are BTP so they should be a bit more expensive than a sized one.

Thanks for the price ideas! Will suggest the prices to her, and see what seems sensible once I've seen the nappies (no expert, but can probably tell a knackered old nappy from a half decent used one). Will let you know what's available as soon as I get them from her and decide what I want.

drlove8 · 16/02/2009 23:32

im feeling rather smug , ive nearly finished my first wrap- its cerise pink fleece with black fleece inside, should be waterproof as i've put p.u.v.a inbetween the layers of fleece!cant wait to try it out on dd and test the performance! lol.need to decide on aplix or poppers for fastenings , then its done!wasnt too hard ,if this one is ok might go into a sewing frenzy......still want some blueberry's though! ,

ilovemydogandMrObama · 16/02/2009 23:40

That's how Tots Bots started out!

4andnotout · 17/02/2009 08:30

DRLOVE we will need to see pictures

4andnotout · 17/02/2009 10:50

I think im going to clear out all my 2 parters today, we only seem to be using blueberry onesize and itti's during the day and stick to bumhuggers at night. The sandys and tots just aren't getting used. Will probably keep the flexit tots as i do like them, still debating buying a few in size 1 for dd4

lolipop DD3 wore the bbos yesterday and looked lush! Would you believe she had it on for about 6hrs with no leaks but in my defence both her and dd4 fell asleep in the phil and teds as we walked round town and i didn't want to disturb them to change them.

I bought a few babylegs but what i bought as babylegs were actually socks from poundland cut down into babylegs So needless to say i went to poundland yesterday and bought about 10 pairs of stripy socks in everycolour and gave them to my mum to overlock for me! DD3 has a black and yellow no added sugar top coming, with a black itti and black and yellow babylegs she is gonna rock!

AnnVan · 17/02/2009 13:23

Hello everyone. Just popping in briefly. 4 Sorry I didn't get back to you about the bg. D'oh I really am just so forgetful. (I wasn't deliberately wasting your time, honest)
I'm in nappy limbo. Can't buy any more, as money is terrible tight at the moment. (not that I actually NEED any more nappies , I just WANT more nappies) My MIL thinks I'm crazy, whenever I show her a cute nappy, she just says but it's a NAPPY. Feel so misunderstood
I think DP finds my nappy addiction quite amusing.

AnnVan · 17/02/2009 13:24

Just realised I really went to town on the smileys there.

ceb80 · 17/02/2009 17:00

4 DD3 will look like fuzzy bumble bee! Will def need a photo!

Hopefully · 17/02/2009 17:37

I tried to order babylegs, but the ones I wanted were out of stock - maybe I'll get some pound shop ones too!
