ilovemydog: If I remember correctly, I think the coloured ones were fairly similar to the cream (at least inside), but certainly the outer wasn't quite so soft!

AnnVan · 04/02/2009 15:39

4 I'll paypal you this evening when DP is home - I don't have a paypal account so have to use his. If you like Softees, try the Teddies out. They are quite generously sized I find, good rise and ovelapping tabs. Only come in Aplix fastening though.

Little man is wearing his Stacinator!! It really looks rather nice on. Will have to take a pic and post it.

thebluefoxategreensocks · 04/02/2009 15:57

rusmum: Meant to say, re: price for Bumbles - IMO, the 3 quid posted ones on UKPL are a bargain! So if you're looking for something cheap, don't think you're going to find better than that!

Need quick advice. DD (aged 2.6) is being potty trained and had zero accidents today!!!

Do I put her in a nappy still at night?

(Will have to do a load which is why I need advice quickly!)

cyteen · 04/02/2009 16:58

Ann DS has been in the Teddies today and I really like them so far

rusmum email is challengeher at hotmail dot com, get in touch and I'll be happy to swap.

thebluefoxategreensocks · 04/02/2009 17:01

ilovemydog: I think often being dry at night can take longer than the daytime dry, so might be safest to put her in something at night...unless you have waterproof sheet on bed & don't mind possible bed/clothes change during night! My little girl was dry for a couple of months during the night, but she's recently started wetting again. So just never know really!

AnnVan · 04/02/2009 18:14

Every time I look at the WeeNotions website, my computer crashes. Does anyone think it's trying to tell me something??
Seriously tempted to get a couple of their wraps though.

lollipopmother · 04/02/2009 18:41

Oh don't AnnVan, there's a lady selling WN NLs and I want one, but i have absolutely no use for it what-so ever! It's killing me!!

OP posts:
AnnVan · 04/02/2009 19:03

Why have you got no use for it Lollipop?

lollipopmother · 04/02/2009 19:37

I've got about 600 Itti's and a couple of BBOS, and three night nappies from WN in the post, I really do not need any more nappies! Plus I only use two-parters for nights now.

OP posts:
rusmum · 04/02/2009 21:01

everyone has too many nappies lol!!!!

And no one wants to buty any of mine!

ilovemydogandMrObama · 04/02/2009 21:32

rachel thanks! Put on nappy on her for the night. She is wearing the Baby Beehind which fits both her and DS

Good thing she is getting potty trained as she's the only one in baby ballet with a nappy.

Anyone heard from Treedelivery?

lollipopmother · 04/02/2009 21:55

I'm just about to send her an email seeing how Harriet is getting on.

I'm about to put my medium Blueberry Side-Snap (choc with blue spots) on various for sale boards if anyone is interested, £10 to include the mf/hemp insert and recorded delivery.

Back home! Couldn't keep away from you guys.

SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 04/02/2009 23:31

Congratulations!!! how are you and LO?

4andnotout · 05/02/2009 07:20

Congratulations Swampster!
We have snow and lots of it, im very excited!

lollipopmother · 05/02/2009 08:11

Loads of snow here too, about three inches I'd say. DP has gone to work which is 50 miles away and has no snow (London) but he was really late setting off so there'll hardly be any point. I didn't take DD out in it the first time but I think I will today, shame DP isn't here to take lots of photos!

SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 05/02/2009 09:40

morning all, just got an e-mail that nappymania is closing down, so you get 25% off everything entering "25%" at check out, in case you're interested.

no snow here, well, we still have monday's and it's a pain to get to school as it's been rainig a bit so al the snow on roads/pavements is iced and very slippery (obviously nothing has been cleared, not even around school, I was so tempted to ring the council and tell them I wouldn't take DS to school til they clear it a bit). I wish it was snowing though...

rusmum · 05/02/2009 10:13

anyone had any experience of modern baby nappies??? (not pop ins- the ones before this) ?????

AnnVan · 05/02/2009 10:33

Good Morning everyone! well, Little man had his BBH on last night with his wool stacinator over the top. Brilliant. Part of the nappy was still dry. AND he didn't reek this morning like he usually does. So now thinking I will stop using FLuffles at night and see about getting a couple more BBH (or maybe splash out on a night notions) Won't get rid of the Fluffles completely as they're DP's favourite nappy.

ilovemydogandMrObama · 05/02/2009 11:13

swampster amazing! You had DS on Monday and you're back on the nappy thread on Thursday.

Are you really the (former) French Minister who was back at work after 3 days?

There is lots of snow here in Bristol!

rusmum I used Modern Baby (original ones) with DD (and gave them away to someone on Mumsnet who didn't even bother saying 'thanks' ). They aren't great. The gusset is the main problem as the elastic can be quite tight on a chunky baby, and zero containment for a skinny baby.

SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 05/02/2009 11:32

postman has finally been, mail for old owners, NO NAPPIES!!!
