The fabric is showing through and these shoes are only a month old :( does anyone know how I could possibly fix them as I have twins and don’t fancy buying another pair of trainers I would rather try and fix
thanks in advance!!

For an adult’s shoe yes, but kids literally crawl about on the ground.

It boggles my mind that there are people with kids so dainty on their feet that this seems like a lot of wear and tear. The only reason my 3 year old’s don’t have the same wear on them is all his shoes have toe bumpers. That’s why well designed toddler shoes do have toe bumpers.

Today alone my child was crawling on concrete to draw with chalk, crawling on a stoney, shell-covered beach, and scuffing his shoes on his bike. The kid needs steel toe caps!

I know what you mean.

My sons both dragged their toecaps along the ground as a brake when riding their balance bikes.

A determined toddler can wreck a pair of trainers in a day let alone a month. Those look they have been worn whilst crawling down a path or used as the a braking mechanism while riding a bike or scooter.

I’d buy some pink shoe polish or pink shoe dye to cover the scuff mark, gives you a bit longer before replacing them.

Get onto ebay and buy second hand! It's literally like throwing gold down the drain buying brand new branded trainers for toddlers.

You are a mug for buying Nikes for a toddler and then expecting a toddler not to behave like a toddler.

Buy suitable shoes for a toddler.

🧐

Yes they do give refunds. Many parents (like me) expect 1 pair of Nike to last (reasonably well) for two pairs of kids. I've had 3 refunds so far for toddler sized shoes.

Are you joking? You ask for refunds because your toddler scrapes their shoes? That's not a bloody fault.

Sadly toddlers scuff their shoes. I don't think there is anything you can do about it
Just let her carry on wearing them as they are.

"Two pairs of kids" is 4 children?

I can see a pair being handed down to a younger sibling, but lasting for two more?

I was thinking same! 😝

Personally, if I was bothered by it, I would go and buy some fancy coloured duct tape and cover the toes with that.
As they will most likely trash the toes again in few days not sure I would even bother with duct tape.😀
