Funny things your toddler has said

I thought it would be fun to share those little gems here.
Mine recently rubbed my pregnant belly and said, "Baby!" Then, without missing a beat touched my boob and exclaimed, "Booby!" 😵‍💫
And: while I was using the toilet came over to me, patted my leg and said, "Good job!" 👏

Havoc: You're looking fine today!

Havoc caught me taking a spoonful of chocolate icing, asked me for some, but I said, No, it is well past bedtime and your teeth are already brushed. Havoc thought for a second, then said, "But, we're a family, mummy."

Havoc just told me a joke for the first time:
Mummy have you ever seen something with legs that can't walk?
A table! A table has legs, but can't walk! 🤣

Surely that answer deserves some chocolate icing 😀
When I read your posts I have to say that Havoc sounds an absolute delight.

I get the, "But, we're a family" answer a lot. It is very effective. 🤦‍♀️

Right now my two are entertaining themselves with boxes I've set aside for recycling.
Baby was a monster in one. Havoc has opened the other and is going through it as a car through a tunnel. 🙂

Time is so fleeting. These bits make the memories.

Time is fleeting and now that DD2 is 4, I didn't think I'd be posting here again, but the other day I discovered that they call the dashed lines at the ends of side roads "tick-tock lines". Because cars stop there and indicate, which they associate with a tick-tock noise.

My kids also 4 but this one proper cracked me up

me: do you want a cheeseburger or a hamburger?
dd: well, I love cheese, but I also love ham so I’ll have a hamburger.
me: so you want a plain burger?
dd: no I want a burger with ham on it!
