Hi, I followed these threads the first time i applied for my son, he was awarded HRC in September then a month later had to send a change of circumstance form off for mobility. That was scan date 8/11 I received LRC back dated payment on Tue (25th) but his letter has come today and they have lowered his care going forward to middle! 😢 even though i stressed no care needs have changed and didn’t even fill in the care part of the COC form. Nothing has changed in his care needs as all, how can they justify it changing from one day to the next. i put a MR straight away on the phone. Does anyone know if they are likely to put it back up and how long it generally takes.

Claim accepted finally, scan date 25 January 2023, HRC and lrm for asd 6yo claim until 2029, huge weight off shoulders now, hope you all can get some good news soon also 🙏

Hi my daughter got excepted for hrc on the 25th April, does anyone know how long UC take to get back to you regarding disability element as I told them on the 25th and they are not replying? Thanks.

Hi scan date 27th jan still waiting a decison, first time claiming my son has had lots of medical need due to prematurity and i didnt even no i could get money for him; until he just got into a special provision secondary school for september
Really anxious waiting a decison every person on the phone tells u different waiting times last week i rang they said you should no friday and this week they said it could take another 3 weeks

@Lollypops88 the wait times are really long my scan date is 10/2 I've been told 15 weeks then 12 weeks then 13 weeks I rang last week and got told should be sorted by 3rd week of May but very much doubt it as I know people with scan dates before me are still waiting, fingers crossed your not waiting to much longer though

I rang last week they told me it had gone to a decsion maker and i should hear with in the next few days .... i rang today and she said could take another 3 weeks... this week will be week 14 from the 27th of jan

@Lollypops88 I honestly think they just tell you anything on the day, if your 27th Jan and I'm 10th jeb I probs still got weeks to wait yet 🙈 fingers crossed yours is very soon

Spoke to the dla today they have told me they needed a little more medical information so they have wrote to the gp it will now bw another 3 weeks before i no 😑week 14 since they received the form

@Lollypops88 that only thing if they need more information it delays it even more as now they need to wait for a response from them 😔 I've got about another 2 weeks to hear I think but I'm getting ready for it to be longer

I sent min evidence so il probably have a long wait aswell 🙈😫

@Minnie83 I sent everything I had but it was only a gp letter, paediatrician letter and family support but I didn't get anyone to fill the bit in about her as I didn't know who to ask just sent letters names and numbers of everyone involved so I will probably have a long wait or not awarded 🙈

Yeah I didn't fill that in either, I just put school and gp details

Minnie83 i sent his ehcp and letters from various specialists so i do wonder what they are questioning maybe they want his extensive medical history as it asks how long have they had the conditions and iv never apppyied before due to not knowing he was entiltled to it! I really hope the wait is 3 weeks ! Hes also jusy got in to a speical provisison school and i sent the letter for that, thats when i realised he is entitled to money

But my claim was looked at on friday/saturday 28th/29th april and they received my application on the 27th of jan for anyone who is abit more straight forward

Yeah I have since got evidence from cahms etc but I'm not sending them now, il use them for MR if her claim isn't successful successful

For anyone waiting from feb. I just got off the phone to dla mine isnt with a dm yet, said im looking at another 3 weekish before dm looks at it and could be end of may for decision 🙄 im not sending any other evidence in either ill wait for her decision and if my daughters claim gets rejected ill use the extra evidence for the MR x

When in Feb are you? My scan date is 10th Feb I was told I should of heard something by 3rd week of May, expecting it to be longer tho
