I have been watching this for a while . My scan date is 17 of March and my son was awarded this morning . Just waiting for my other sons with the same scan date as it’s still waiting to be seen . Hopefully this helps people waiting .

@Mamof9 congrats 🥳 can I ask if these were renewals or new claims? It's funny how same scam dates are being processed at totally different timescales

Mine are both new claims . They said my other son could also be today but definitely by Tuesday .

My sons scan date was the 15th March I’ve rang today and he’s in the overtime pile just incase anyone else is worried seeing later dates being done

@Mamof9 congrats hopefully you hear about your other child soon. Apparently they're working Saturdays now too. Did you find out via text or did you call them?

I called with it being the 15 week mark today . I received no call or text .

@Pk12 high rate element is only for dla awards with high rate care

I’m in plymouth, I’m not sure what they’ve added on but the letter says carers element and disabled child addition

I’ve just got more evidence from my health visitor, does anyone know what I put on the envelope to send it of for the dla please :)

@Minnie83 I always got high element in my uc and my son was mrc and lrm. £412 I get but it's gone up now

And since I did coc Feb this year and now he's on hrc the element is still the same

Anyone in March heard anything or anyone still waiting?

@Catsandcupcakes I'm still waiting my scan date is 29th so I reckon 2 weeks still to wait. I think they're on the 16-17th

Not sure but it's 456 for high rate dla and 146 for the rest, becareful ul end up owing them

It took 4 days for mine

I got a back pay from univrrsal credit and now they are saying they over paid me, i new they would find a way of taking it back 🤣

Oh right I only asked as mines with a decision maker I know your meant to get high disability element if you get high rate care or something. Is your element over 400 sorry to ask

I get middle rate care. I think the carer element and disability element of uc came to about £300 or something. Is that what you mean?

Well I find that strange because from the moment my son got mrc and lrm I was put on higher element on uc I didn't even no I could even claim it until I noticed my payemts went up £412 once awarded dla.

Just checked it was £402 not £412. I now get £456.89
