Hi everyone I am new to this forum, I rang dla today and was told it will go to a decision maker on week 16. My scan date is March 9th and that i should hear something by the middle of July. I have phoned a few times this month and was originally told it will go to the decision maker on week 15. I hope that helps anyone thanks

Mummyof1sonxx · 20/06/2023 16:15

Finally got through and was told change of circumstances are taken 6 months. So I'm looking around middle to end of July.

Minnie83 · 20/06/2023 16:16

@Pk12 there around that date currently so you may get decision this week or next

MammaLBlue · 20/06/2023 16:17

Same scan date :) told me middle of July so around 4 weeks left!

Lo89 · 20/06/2023 17:07

My scan date was 29 March so a few more weeks for me has anyone been recently awarded or denied? And if denied what were their reasonings?

Pk12 · 20/06/2023 18:02

Hi Minnie have you had a decision yet? I'm worried about my daughters claim I think she will be turned down for dla.

Minnie83 · 20/06/2023 18:09

@Pk12 I'm going through MR

Annon12345 · 20/06/2023 18:10

Hello90xx · 19/06/2023 13:24

@Hello90xx any news yet? My scan date is 10th March

Minnie83 · 20/06/2023 18:13

@MrH renewals are a joke at the minute

Hello90xx · 20/06/2023 18:55

@Annon12345 no news yet, when I called on Thursday it wasn't even with a DM yet 😕 now people on here saying mid July for March, so not sure, we probably have a longer wait to go unfortunately

Minnie83 · 20/06/2023 19:15

There currently on around the 7 th march so I don't know where mid July comes from

Pk12 · 20/06/2023 19:44

May I ask Minnie what evidence you sent in I do appolgise for asking

Pk12 · 20/06/2023 19:46

@Hello90xx thanks, frustrating isn't it. Someome the other day on here said theirs was 9th march and with dm, I'm sure I read it I'll have to go back and check x

Pk12 · 20/06/2023 22:46

What have you sent in for the MR, in my daughters forms I sent in speech therapy report which has a few details from the school and saying about a iscan referral, also a physio report and to be honest I don't think it's enough.

Pk12 · 20/06/2023 22:50

Hello90 it does make you little nervous. I was told today 16 weeks then upto 2 weeks for decision

Mumtotwoboys121 · 20/06/2023 22:53

I am part of the dla group on Facebook, i wonder how some people are getting approved quicker than others? Is it due to sending more evidence in do you think? X

If it's helpful my son got awarded with just his adhd assessment report as the additional evidence.
I later got a bit paranoid that I'd probably filled out the form a bit crappy, so right at the last minute I sent them a letter from the school senco, a letter from the educational psychologist, and his therapy appointment letters. But the extra evidence didn't even get there in time, and somehow we got lucky and still got awarded. So either my form was more acceptable than I thought or maybe they called some of the people (Gp, senco etc) I'd listed on the form

I've seen that a lot of people are having success after using the DLA guide from www.benefitsandwork.co.uk
But it's £20 to get access to it, or there's the cerebra guide. I only found out about them 'after' sending back my form😖. I'm a bit silly like that 'act on impulse, research later when it's too late' 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ Habit Im actively trying to break

Just had a look at the cerebra guide. It’s really good! Will be definitely using that if I need to apply again.
