Yeah whoever shouts the most they try to get rid of, and getting rid of a person can ultimately mean them just sorting out the issue so they don't have to deal with that person anymore🤣

@Mummy2fivegirls when I called up about mine he told me to do it under the payment section in the journal & he told me exactly what to write & how to word it he said it will take about 2 weeks for someone to look at it & then a couple days after that it will be awarded. I don’t know if you’ve already done that. They owed me money in April & paid it me in my may payment but I haven’t heard anything about the back payment from my disabled element yet 🙄xx

@Mumof31995 yeah that's exactly what I've been doing I've sent like 9 messages now what have been ignored 😫 I've put a complaint in about it, it's not the waiting I can wait for the back pay but its the fact they literally just ignore you. Tbf the monthly statement changed quickly etc but it's the back pay feels like they just do owt to not pay you but are quick enough to take money off people if it was other way round.

@Mummytofivegirls that’s what annoys me too the fact that they ignore you, I’m sure I read somewhere that if it’s about a payment they are supposed to get back to you with in 30 days. I’m not fussed about how long it takes either it’s just the constant ignorance happy enough to take money away. How did you put your complaint in? X

They tell you you can't claim the element until they are accepted for at least MRC on Dla but then tell you "in special circumstances"... lovely how long they take they are quick enough when they claim you owe them money!!! But I got lucky I wrote on yesterday saying the waiting times are unacceptable and got a letter on there this morning telling me how much they owe me... you need too complain cause they are taking way to long for you and it shouldn't be that long @mummytofivegirls xx

@Mumof31995 I did it online google DWP complaints, it was pretty straight forward to do actually, I just explained how long I've been waiting and how many times I've wrote on my journal how many times I've rang and just literally get ignored then the people on phone tell you to write on your journal as that the quickest way to get a response erm no it's definitely not 🤣

@Mumto2sengirlsxx ah I'm glad you got it sorted, I really do think they make the rules up as they go along.. can I ask did you get back what you was expecting or was it less etc? Xx

I’ve just had a message saying it’s with a DM & I’ll be updated via journal if they can update payments with the new elements then they must know that they are entitled im sure they do it so you just give up like the process for DLA isn’t long enough to then have another battle for money you’ve been entitled to for months but not received to still be made to feel like your a massive inconvenience because your enquiring about what your entitled to 🙄

@Mummy2fivegirls glad u complained the take the pi##, they should defo tell u whats going on, not just ignore msgs. They should provide same service to everyone not just when it suits them. U will hear bk from complains pretty sharply I should imagine.

@Minnie83 I've not so long ago had text message and then 10 minutes later had phone call from them to say my son has been awarded.

@Soph2345 thats amazing. Did the text say you had been awarded before you got the phone call? I feel like everyone has a different experience 😂

@Mummytofivegirls they defo do make the rules up, I had a notification saying I owed them £100 because of the benefit cap 2 years. So I'm arguing with them at the minute ive been on pip myself for 3 years so my benefit cap doesn't apply to me and hasn't for 3 years... I half expected them to take it from the dla element backpay but they didn't... I actually am receiving a little more than what I expected off them for the dla element backpay to be honest because of how my assessment period lands its been backdated to January xx I really hope they sort this for you soon it isn't fair to ignore you and leave you in limbo for this long! X

Anyones scan date April I'm the 4th.
Had a text yesterday saying sorry we've not looked at your claim yet.
I've never rang once cba with the hold and then it gets disconnected.

Was the text that you got 10 mins before the phonecall telling you that you got awarded also or the "still processing your claim" one

@Mumto2sengirlsxx that's good then, I will let you know if I get anywhere with them, not getting my hopes up knowing my luck will be waiting another how many weeks 🤣🤣
