Hi, the DLA of awarded is backdated the the scan date. Last time I called I was advised 15 week wait so it shouldn’t be too long for you now but they do have a massive backlog. At least you got a letter and a text, I’ve had nothing I had to call for my scan date ☹️

@Mumto2sengirlsxx have you heard anything yet ?

@Minnie83 no not yet but on the next part of the forum a lady with the same scan date rang today and its with a dm and someone with a scan date of the 17/02 is also with a scan date so hopefully we'll hear something soon! Xxx

@Minnie83 I know hun! Makes me nervous hearing other people get their decisions I start believing ours has been declined so I'm definitely struggling with the anxiety and the wait! I really hope you hear back off them soon it has to be some point this week surely xx

@Minnie83 I know I said I wasn't gonna bother but I couldn't bare not knowing if it's with the dm yet so my partner is currently on hold with them hopefully they answer soon haha xx

@Minnie83 just don't bother calling I don't understand how they sort these claims out but mines not with a dm and said 1st week of June now I'm getting really agitated I'm glad my partner called and not me! Haha

@Mumto2sengirlsxx yeah they told me June aswell when I rang last Monday 😒

@Minnie83 but then other people with our scan date and the 17th are with the dm today makes no sense how they sort these claims out so they can be as last and miss schedules as they want but if we send in our forms out of the timescale we have to start over again? Ridiculous!

@Minnie83 I'm going to be so frustrated cause I have gotta do this all over again! The school have asked me to apply for my youngest as she's been diagnosed hypermobility and needs physio and assessment for adhd I can't deal with their process! I'm on Pip and enjoyed that process a lot more to be honest haha

@Minnie83 I know right that's why I'm getting frustrating I think because I just want to know now the anxiety of not knowing is terrible and the longer it is the more I convince myself it will be declined xx

Be interesting to know what date they are actually on

I wonder if the renewal dates and new claims are prioritised differently. Also id decision makers are seeing the same date at the same time or just working through their pile, which could explain why some scan dates are seen earlier than others.

Anyone heard back from dla who's scan date was 06/03?

When you get a text saying we are still looking at your claim and do not call them, does this mean it is with a dm and they are actually looking at it or that it's in the queue to be looked at?

@Mammato2senkiddos unfortunately that text doesn't mean it's with a dm it just a text they send to everyone
