She's taken an overdose. And it's my fault, I left my medication where she could find it. Shit, shit, shit.

Thinking of you OP I hope your DD is ok. Mental health services are so stretched at the moment we had a lot of people with suicide attempts just sent home with a referral and long wait when I worked in emergency care. It’s dreadful.

Sending you and your daughter love OP. This is not your fault and it is not her fault, she is mentally ill. I hope she gets the help and support she needs. So many young people are in crisis right now it is very difficult to watch.

I have also been there with teen DD, I blamed myself too but you will realise that it isn't your fault.
