HELP!!! Should I report this mum!?!?!

So.. I really need the help of other mums please!!

I follow a girl on Instagram who’s from my town who does vlogs and videos her everyday life. She talks to the camera and just lets her followers know what she’s doing, her tidying, cooking and looking after her two children aged 2 and 5.

She seems like a lovely person but the way she speaks to her children and about her children is horrendous. She swears at them, calls them names, says she hates them, they’ll be crying about falling and she’ll just look at them with disgust and tell them to go away, and has said (I quote) “I’ve sent them to bed at 5 because I hate them and I just don’t want to be around them”. Then films herself drinking 2 bottles of wine EVERY night, getting drunk while waiting for her boyfriend to finish work. And threatens not to feed them tea and gives it to them late if they’re naughty.

But what I think is the worst is she was telling the camera about how she’ll be performing oral s*x on her boyfriend that night in a VERY detailed and vulgar way... WHILST HER 5 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER WAS SITTING ON HER KNEE WITH HER!?!?!

Being a parent myself this just does not sit right with me at all... am I being ridiculous? Should I report it? Would anyone else report it??? I’m by NO means judging her parenting! But it’s all day, everyday and seeing how she swears at/about them is awful.

I would

ilovemydaughterx · 20/05/2020 00:34

Who would you report it to? X

Well... you might not be judging her parenting but I definitely am!

If all this is true then yes, report.

Yeah I would be putting in a report.

peanutandpumkin · 20/05/2020 00:36

She sounds horrible! You say shes from your town, any idea if shes just all talk and drama?? I am thinking how has she gone so long without being reported

1ForAllnAllFor1 · 20/05/2020 00:36

I think you SHOULd judge her parenting. She is abhsive and stupid. Report her please. Not sure why anyone follows someone toxic like this

CoachBombay · 20/05/2020 00:36

You need to report this. So many issues.

You can report it to the social services of the town she lives in, but if you don't know that or where she lives you can report it to 101 if the is in the UK.

Police have a child safeguarding team, and can pass on any concerns to social services and vice versa.

Louise91417 · 20/05/2020 00:37

She sounds like a right twat! This wouldnt sit comfortably with me either..think id forward her details on to relevant authorities and let them take it from there. She sounds a nightmare..poor kids..

emptyplinth · 20/05/2020 00:37

Don't follow her?

ilovemydaughterx · 20/05/2020 00:37

@Bluebird3456 It is 100% true, where do you both think I should report it to? @SomeHalfHumanCreatureThing @cheeseycheeseycheesecheese

What a dirty betch. I'd report. Hate it when people say they hate their kids. Giving them tea late because they were naughty. Oh she's a cunt. She must think of herself as a little celeb with her 2 bottles of echo falls

AntiHop · 20/05/2020 00:38

Definitely report her. You could report to nspcc.

ilovemydaughterx · 20/05/2020 00:40

Oh ladies thankyou!!! You've all said what I was too worried to initially wrote in my post!! I'll be calling 101 tomorrow morning and give them her Instagram name.. it's every day so it'll be easy for them to see.

Panpastels · 20/05/2020 00:41

In what way does she seem like a lovely person ? I'm confused !

Bluebird3456 · 20/05/2020 00:42

@ilovemydaughterx Sorry I just realised how that sounded, I didn't mean you were making it up or anything, I meant if she's really doing this i.e. not just all talk/pretending for the camera etc! I would report to the local authority if you know where she lives.

ilovemydaughterx · 20/05/2020 00:42

@Panpastels This is the first post I've put on here so I didn't know what backlash I'd get if I said what I really think.. trust me. She's not a lovely person but I didn't think I'd get a good response for saying that

OP posts:
ilovemydaughterx · 20/05/2020 00:43

@Bluebird3456 It's okay I know what you meant when you wrote it.

OP posts:
ilovemydaughterx · 20/05/2020 00:44

Should I wait until the morning to call or call now? Please tell me what you'd all do because it's driving me mad. I don't know how the 2,000 people who follow her are so supportive

Greenmarmalade · 20/05/2020 00:44

There’s nothing wrong with judging something that’s immoral and harms children!

Of course you should report it. Do you know the child’s school? Ask to speak to the safeguarding lead as soon as possible.

Inforthelonghaul · 20/05/2020 00:45

I think a report to the NSPCC would be a good idea too OP.

Greenmarmalade · 20/05/2020 00:46

Call the school tomorrow. They’ll log it and pass it on to the relevant services.

I’d call and check on the action after a few days.

ilovemydaughterx · 20/05/2020 00:47

I don't know what school they go to! There's about 7 or 8 in the town I'm from😩x

She seems like a lovely person

Hmm how the fuck does she seem like a lovely person?? Confused

LilyMarshall · 20/05/2020 00:50

Definitely report. Phone the nspcc for advice. Can you download the worst of it in anyway in case she deletes?

SomeHalfHumanCreatureThing · 20/05/2020 00:51

I'd report directly to social services
www.gov.uk/report-child-abuse-to-local-council put your postcode in and it'll give you the details.

You sound like you feel you need to do something right now? Are the children safe?
If you believe the children are at risk of immediate harm, call the police.
