Wouldn't we all be a nightmare on a rare ladies only night out?!

hi judd

bought some medised today, as well as ashton and parsons and calgel. well got to get prepared
must go and taste the medised in a mo, am curious after all your mentions of the foul stuff.

dd didnt do the 45mins wake thing this eve. i daresay she will do the 90 min one though!

right, off to drink medised

Sandi102 · 12/10/2004 20:26

egypt, i live in willenhall, close to the dreaded j10 M6. Where are you?

i completely understand the amfs thing i can be so dim sometimes. don't worry about hte nap thing. ds napped for max. of 45 min and now he naps for 2hours in the morning and 2hours in the afternoon. i'm sure she'll get better as she gets bigger.

mad, bad day today. central heating man is still here and i don't know how ds is sleeping thro all the banging and drilling and the bust ups my MIL and FIL are having. That's my entertainment for the night! ds1 can't stand the noise and is getting very tired.

i bought some medised today and i've forgotton to given it!

egypt i grew up in derby! I moved to whall 7 years ago, when i married. mum worked in long eaton and now lives in littleover.

SusiS · 12/10/2004 21:24

so! finally got a minute to myself!
giggling at amfs
BUT amfs so true!!!! i was wondering if i should draw a map and clear instructions for dp and hang it on tv or pc screen - sort of "hear/see this signal -> do this! - earns you many many browny points with mumy!" - dp struggled with looking after ds for 1 (in words: one) hour - dang, i'll get slapped for saying this; he always reads this thread

there must be something in the air!!! lucas is soooo unsettled too. hardly has any naps during day (normally 2 hours before and 1hour after lunch) - went to bed easily though but woke twice so far already!!! went straight back to sleep though but still, he's never done that

welcome back judd

i read that funny article the other day about a woman who was way too trapped with motherhood "she got invited around a friends house for a party. they all sat down for dinner and suddenly everybody went quiet and just stared at her. she was cutting the meat on her neighbours plate without even noticing it" - i just loved that one!!!

thx on lucas' pics

GeorginaA, I like your ringtone . . .

Amfs, you have done a lot of shuffling around whilst muttering about the yoof of today and branding bottoms whilst forgetting your own name

I think my return to work is falling back into place and I had ace cuddles with DS tonight so all is snug now - unless he does mardy mood again tonight . . .

I am soooooo tired I can't sleep though Libb

did you see my addition to the geldolf thread? had to duck below parapet on that one

libb · 12/10/2004 21:51

I love the idea of a good long marriage too - all my family have managed theirs really well so I can't really comment on mine . . . .

I would just like to be like my mum and dad, all that loving, just knowing what they have is the best and a dash of bickering to oil the wheels. I still find it funny when mum demands a cuddle and dad just looks dutiful and quietly amused.

I would like to think I have found that with DP now.

I didn't watch the Geldof programmes so hope I didn't get the wrong end of the stick somewhere. I am avoiding the contentious threads these days . . .

Should we start a new thread? I would but the last left me too tired and emotional - plus I had an e-mail from Mumsnet asking me why I wanted it deleted because you were all obviously finding it highly amusing . . .

I'll do it.
