....social worker just rang me back...thinks there are grounds to investigate further.

im in proper full on shock...not as bad as last night, but still shaking abit and i feel like its happening to someone else...a bit detached...functioning but not with it....

my ds...three this sept...was creepily sexually expilicit last night .i wont sya what he said cos im feeling cautious.

something about the context ,manner...his choice of words...his choice of verb...immediately waved a red flag for me.oh god i feel so so sick.

BoT, you know my story and even though it was only our word, they believed us. HOWEVER because the boy denied it (err yes of course he would) the ss said they could do nothing else and the boy was not sent for counselling/watched/ nada.

They used to live opposite us so if I heard anyone else using him as a baby-sitter I COULD GENTLY SUGGEST THEY DIDNT BUT NOW. We have moved and so has he so the whole scenario could happen again.

Morning Beans...hope the weekend in Somerset was good.
FWIW, I've often felt like I'm fine before a counselling session - and found other feelings once there: hope it goes/went well and was/is useful.
I had to smile re the shampoo: me, too (dd has eczema, avoid much soap stuff) and I also have justified it in my time, when others seem to be slathering their kids in soap bubbles Wink
And, its totally normal for it all to seem unreal now, that happened to everyone I ever worked with. Disbelief...doubt...all that.

xxx

echoing elibean; had to smile at one bottle of shampoo - my ds is 3+ and no excema and still was on first bottle until dd came along recently!!; hope counselling goes ok - a lot can depend on personality compatibility - good luck

hi bens

i missed this as I was away at the time. I am so very very sorry that this has happened. I have worked in partnership with SS and I son't think they're bad people, but their hands are tied so often and they rarely match up to peoples expectations which may be partially defendable on an individual level, but is still wrong and very Sad indeed.

I wish you and your lo every luck in the worls. I think you are amazing.

hi...the briefest of updates

im getting counselling Smile..never had it before ....its very funny and very serious in equal measure.

im not posting about it much cos it deals with teh highly personal stuuf about ones make up, taht makes it difficult to cope with whats been thrown at one (in this case obviously whats been happening iwth ds ).with me?

so it goes back to teh root of teh struggle...isolates what is teh biggest challenge.yadda yadda

oh god im going to get addicted to this im sure.....sooooo indulgent and me me me!Wink

my dad,who we live with is in ireland so we are palying happy families and its swell xxx

love gushybeans
