Well folks, to my surprise I got my best mark so far for TMA06 so I'm feeling pretty happy today - now, if I could just hold on to those positive feelings and get going on the revision

Bizarrely I too got my best mark for TMA06 I was scared to look at it fearing a bare pass would put me off my revision. Am so glad I had a peek now.

In fact I can't believe how positive I feel about A207 now after months of hell . I've tried answering some of the specimen exam questions too and found them not half as bad as I originally feared.

Hello all - thanks for the warm welcome! I'm doing A210 Approaching Literature (...then veering away sharply quite often). Today I could have done lots on the TMA04 - but the man came to look at the aerial and DH has lurgy and requires soup and tea and stuff. Struggling a bit with the poetry tbh....have a sneaking suspicion that if I wrote the MOST pretentious Pseuds Corner stuff I would be scoring highly...

Just got email from my tutor asking me to remain him when I'll be submitting my tma

well I've written all over my printed draft of TMA03, and subject to a re-read tomorrow, it appears to make sense now when it totally didn't before
so all I have to do is type the stuff I've scribbled and added, and send it. Ohh doesn;t that sound so simple

Jesus, how am I going to write 4000 words today? I have DCs whole day today.
And I have to submit it, it's worth 30% of OCAS and I will fail the course if I don't submit. Am going on holiday tomorrow, so have to send it by tomorrow early afternoon (am already on extension)

I can't bloody concentrate, went to bed late last night, am tired, kids are driving me up the wall and I have lots of things to do before leaving tomorrow. Will try the procrastinator's method of doing it in small chunks-10 minutes here and there thoughout the day and then spend the whole night writing the rest. I just want to crawl back to bed, tbh.

I got my research rationale done and my tutor seems very positive. I have ethical approval to collect data.

So am I doing it? Absolutely not. Afterall I have FOUR WEEKS to play with. All I have to do is put together consent forms, questions, recruit participants, conduct an hour long discussion, transcribe it, write lit review, analyse data, and send it in by post which means no last minute nonsense.

I need a reality check.
