This is regarding the previous post regarding the Snag brand selling patches that promote choking. But of course we aren't allowed to be uncomfortable with it as women without being branded bullies etc. Disappointed is putting it lightly after being a loyal Snag customer from their first year. But I guess my experience as an abuse survivor is not valuable because kinks are being shamed, to heck with mine or any other abused people's discomfort with such wording. As expected the usual "kinks rule" brigade are out in force to shout down anyone with any genuine concerns. Not great Snag, not great..

What a bunch of dickpandering idiots. I regret having supported Snag during Corona. Used to love their stuff but stopped buying when they started sending out emails that were not far short of pornography.

I think the post has been taken down!! I unblocked them & tried to report the post for violence, and it kept saying "something went wrong". I went back later and it seems to have a disappeared!! Hopefully enough people will have complained about it.

In all honesty, while I share your sentiments about choking and kinks in general, this was not on their regular site. I didn't even know they had that site despite the fact that tiktok tries to direct me to their page all the time despite blocking them.

For people who supposedly don't want to shame or judge anyone, the people at Snag do seem very very keen on shaming and judging anyone they consider "vanilla" or "conforming". And they're very very good at making assumptions about what the posters here are like.

In case anyone from Snag is reading (!), I have an issue specifically with the slogans on these patches, the worst one being the choking reference. That's because of issues around safety for women as per the We Can't Consent To This campaign, not because I'm "vanilla", a conformist, right wing, anti-kink or whatever.

It’s always about money at the end of the day. They found their niche and it’s not mainstream I think that’s okay and those that are offended can shop elsewhere.

Personably I’m just irritated by those who feel holier than though over countless on-trend issues and that’s enough for be to bail. I honestly can’t stand businesses who are so desperate to virtue signal. It’s tedious.
