This is regarding the previous post regarding the Snag brand selling patches that promote choking. But of course we aren't allowed to be uncomfortable with it as women without being branded bullies etc. Disappointed is putting it lightly after being a loyal Snag customer from their first year. But I guess my experience as an abuse survivor is not valuable because kinks are being shamed, to heck with mine or any other abused people's discomfort with such wording. As expected the usual "kinks rule" brigade are out in force to shout down anyone with any genuine concerns. Not great Snag, not great..

Out of interest, do you recommend any other brands? Not being snarky, just curious as I like their tights and chub rub shorts and haven’t seen anything similar around. This has made me not want to buy from Snag again so recommendations would be helpful.

Blimey, Snag hate us don't they. Very strange marketing ploy for a tights company to declare war on the largest online assembly of their potential customer base.

I quite like their tights but I had no idea they were also into this kind of thing. Sorry but I find it sleazy and not something I want to associate with. Back to M&S I go.

Except it's not M&S that people are referring others to. I don't buy tights from M&S. I'll be looking at the other brands mentioned on the other thread when I'm next looking to buy.

I really don't think whichever naive teen is in charge of their social media today has run that post by legal. Their replies are lawsuit inducing. They've single handedly managed to make the entire company look like a set of bitches. It's all well and good with a few comments supporting them and attacking Mumsnet, but they are going to lose customers in droves. Not necessarily from the original post itself, but their replies. Mumsnet has 8 million unique users every months, they barely scrape a couple of hundred reactions on their posts more often than not 😬

I personally dont buy from Snag because the quality has got shitty. Better Tights are the alternative when high street brands do not fit my, to quote upthread again, my hugely overweight body.

I’ve disliked their advertising for a long time but have still been a customer because I like the product. Not any more. Wish I hadn’t bought their ‘save us’ vouchers in lockdown now. Well, they won’t get another penny from me.

I have a 15 year old daughter who is going into a world where young girls risk believing anal sex and choking are normal, everyone does it except I'm sure not many hetero young men would be up for receiving from their girlfriends, wonder why not and if they don't comply they will be labelled fridgid.
