This is regarding the previous post regarding the Snag brand selling patches that promote choking. But of course we aren't allowed to be uncomfortable with it as women without being branded bullies etc. Disappointed is putting it lightly after being a loyal Snag customer from their first year. But I guess my experience as an abuse survivor is not valuable because kinks are being shamed, to heck with mine or any other abused people's discomfort with such wording. As expected the usual "kinks rule" brigade are out in force to shout down anyone with any genuine concerns. Not great Snag, not great..

It may not be you but there really are women (and men) who refer to themselves as cum slut. Many people also enjoyed being choked with consent. If you don’t like it, then don’t buy it?

I think snag tights are crap. They’re always baggy at the ankles and don’t wash well. The overtly and fairly extremist politics of their (aggressive) social media presence is very off putting too.

But they don’t actually make good tights either IME. Which is a fundamental failing in a tights company.

As someone who has occasional involvement in the BDSM community, the explanation that a 'choke me' badge is for individuals who 'cannot always verbalise' their desires is very worrying. If people want to engage in being choked (and I completely get that the practice is horrifying to many), that absolutely involves verbalisation and very detailed conversation of safety and boundaries. I would argue that a badge instructing 'choke me' is the absolute opposite of the 'safe, sane and consensual' rule that is supposed to govern BDSM practices. But then I also despair of the snide attitude to 'vanillas' that is endemic in the community, so I'm something of an outlier.

I ordered from Snag once and reelected it due to the poor quality of the tights that sagged at the ankles even though they should have been the perfect size for me. I certainly would never order again and am upset they have ever had any money from me having seen all of this.
