Egg · 10/03/2008 11:19

Ah hello LL, lovely to see you here. miniEggs are very good (asleep!), but one of them did misbehave this morning and poo and puke just as I was trying to leave to take DS1 to nursery.

How is your lovely DS? Oh and you never did tell me whereabouts in Winchester your DH used to live?

Fred glad you have come over to keep me company, hope marmite is ok, and that she and the others get over here soon.

Right, off to get DS2 in the bath. He is so not going to appreciate being woken up.

You forces sweethearts gals are very brave. I could never cope without DH coming home each night, even if he is useless at most household tasks .

Saying that, one of our relatives' DH was in a the Navy and when the DH retired she was so fed up with having him under her feet and wished she could get shot of him for a few months again!

We had a DS1 sudocrem incident a couple of weeks back. I was on MN and ignoring him so he coated his entire body in it, whilst sitting on the sofa. Thankfully is a nice wipe clean leather sofa. He calls it "my cream" and if I try to use it on the babies he shouts "MINE MINE".

I couldn't bring myself to wake poor DS2 for his bath. So both babies have now been asleep over 2 hours. What would Gina Ford say??????

Mine only gets used a couple of times a week as I have to take the "Powerbus" out most of the time. My Zapp has become a bit sticky to fold too, it annoys me but I still love it.

ok, so the computer being switched off didn't last for very long.

They both perked up after their sandwiches, so have switched you guys back on.

LL - some of us don't even have a zapp

and I haven't used mine for ages, because ds has been insisting that he is a big enough boy to walk (and normally being right about that as well )

OMG i cannot beleieve you lot are still going! Must be nearly a year now surely since our Boots bargain!!

fryalot · 10/03/2008 12:09

I think it was April or May, so yes, nearly a year.

I would like to point out that I know this because of other circumstances, I did not make a note of the date that we started a zappata thread (much as I love you girls )

And yes, you're right, I couldn't keep away... I was wondering what I was missing

I think I am coming down with a bit of their cold, I should get whiskey, shouldn't I?

Egg · 10/03/2008 13:09

I was just thinking the other day that it must be nearly a year ago that I got the Zapp. I knew I had it well before I found out I was pg (29 May) as I seem to recall young Squonkers was about the second person to know I got a BFP (and indeed WAS the second person to know there were TWO in there). So we must have been chatting for a while to have become buddies by then.

Just remembered, we became friends because I used to be Squonk's personal shopper .

Seems so long ago! And remember when Fred used to be called Mum...

Hello bonkerz . Are you coming back to play or just popping in. I am pretending to hoover the house whilst browsing MN. Babies fell straight back to sleep after feeding. Great, but means they will be yelling for a few hours later.

Egg i remember you announcing your pregnancy and subsequent twins on the first zappatta thread! Not sure i will be back to play TBh. Still use my zapp though and i have given up childminding so its the only buggy i own now! Although now DD is 2 she prefers to twalk everywhere so it sits in car boot all lonely!
