LOL at printing press.

Just saying hello quickly as babies needing mummy.

I could not live without a microwave.

Fred I am so excited about the new car you are buying us....

at gold chain.

Squonk did I send your dd my one and only playboy top? I had a stripey one with a tie bit at the front. It was actually a really nice t-shirt, just had the bunny logo on it discreetly.

Better go and pick one of the screamers up.

oh.

Less than a tenner then

fingers crossed that it's enough for you to do what you want with it

fryalot · 11/03/2008 15:04

egg - doesn't ring a bell. She wears the Morgan ones quite a lot, and the Abercrombie ones. Not sure if the playboy one she has came from you... it's not stripey (I don't think)

Dropdeadfred · 11/03/2008 16:03

wooohooooo!!!

I really am excited...we have the potential to be mortgage free very soon...!!

Sorry to be crowing, just can't tell anyone in real life yet...
A business deal turned very very good!!

Egg · 11/03/2008 16:09

but so so pleased for you Fred. Perfect timing with wedding coming up.

Got to run, World War III here.

fryalot · 11/03/2008 16:10

Dropdeadfred · 11/03/2008 16:10

fryalot · 11/03/2008 16:11

Dropdeadfred · 11/03/2008 16:12

Thanks Squonk...fish and chips are on me in Brighton!!!!!

YAY!!!!!

Dropdeadfred · 11/03/2008 16:13

By that I mean..purchased by me...not smeared all over my face through shovelling them in that fast (although that may well happen)...

fryalot · 11/03/2008 16:15

seriously, congratulations. Tis fabulously wondrous news. Am very pleased for you.

Egg · 11/03/2008 16:16

I would be gloating too.

Couldn't happen to a nicer family (except mine, or marmite's, or phono's, or squonk's...).

. Champers tonight anyone?

Actually, I think DS1 will be sick soon. He is coughing so much it is bound to happen.

Got to go and feed teeny tiny DD.

OP posts:
fryalot · 12/03/2008 07:43

morning everyone

fred: was it like this in your house last night?

egg: are you worried about dd's weight? What does HV say? Was ds1 sick? Can we have a poo update

marmite: any news today? how is everyone?

phono: will you still be looking for fred's villa in August?

squonkette update:

dp - braving hurricane force winds to go to work
dd1 - upstairs slapping make-up on
dd2 - asleep
ds - asleep
me - here

Egg · 12/03/2008 08:16

Morning

Got our 6-week check today (at 9 weeks) so will find out how they are doing. No projectiles since DH's feed the night before last [phew]. DS1 not sick, just lots and lots of coughing.

Egglet Update:

DS1: snotty but in good spirits. Watching Toy Story (just starting so Buzz is not in it yet).
DS2: Dozing in bouncy chair
DD: Was dozing in bouncy chair but DS1 wanted to sit in it so she is now dozing under activity arch
Me: Gutted as for once everyone was still asleep and I had to wake babies to get them feeding at 7am so that I can feed them again before docs appt (do NOT want to have to feed them both whilst there)
Me: Off to wash my rancid hair
Me: Bit tired
DH: Gone to work, very tired bless him. Am going to allow him a lie in this weekend as he is shattered

DS1 has had another party invite for this Sunday. He is excited.

Squonk, has DD2 been to hers yet or is it this weekend?

Fred, hope you are suitably hungover today.

Marmite, hope you are ok and not just trying to be brave for everyone else. Come over to us and have a cry if you need to. Oh, and are you still up for coming here on Friday? If not I totally understand, just let me know though as have told doula not to come on Friday but if you want to postpone I will ask her to come.

Phono, hope you log onto MN within 2 mins of getting to work again today . You are permitted to get coffee first but nothing else...

Off for hairwash now.

fryalot · 12/03/2008 09:24

egg - good luck with the 6 week check up.

we will, of course, expect a FULL update when you return.

If you do see Marmite on Fri, will you give her an extra special hug from us please?

Dropdeadfred · 12/03/2008 10:25

Hi girls.well it was mild celebrating last night..the deal is agred but the financila side will happen in a month...

Until then pessimistic me refuses to belive it and DP is running around with a grin on his ace and getting fedup of me being unbelieving....

Egg - 6 weeks already!!!!!

Squonk - both my elder dd's salp the make up on for school now. I wish schools were strict like in my day!!! (Often got told to 'wash that muck off your face young lady!!')

fryalot · 12/03/2008 10:29

fred - according to dp, the girls put their make up on in class - twas one of the reasons he moved to a boys school.

So I figure that if she leaves the house full of slap, at least she won't be tempted to do it when she's supposed to be studying double maths

and believe it, you deserve it.

Dropdeadfred · 12/03/2008 10:38

wow Squonk....does dp enjoy teching boys more?

and thank you all for your congrats!

fryalot · 12/03/2008 10:43

he enjoys this school more. And the school is what it is because there are only boys there. He certainly doesn't miss the hormonal flirtings and politics that go on between the girls and the boys.

But he says that boys on their own aren't any better behaved than boys and girls, just different.

I think it's more the school than the boys only-ness of it, the school is very strict and has a really strong work ethic which rubs off on the boys.
