have just had a look at pics... he is gorgeous

Still teeny tiny, but bigger and more robust looking than I was expecting.

marmitemad · 10/03/2008 15:55

he is back to his birth weight already after 10 days, it took dd over 2.5 weeks to get back to her birth weight.

Dropdeadfred · 10/03/2008 15:57

Ahh bless him marmite, he is very handsome. He looks as big as my DD now though , she is still really quite small. So glad he is doing well.

You sound like you are being a fabulous friend to your SIL. Just being there for you will help.

Wind is picking up again here. Managed to get DS1 from nursery without getting rained on thank god. We are now watching Toy Story (surprise surprise).

morning ladies.

How is everyone today?

Marmite - any news?

Egg · 11/03/2008 09:11

All present and correct here.

DS1 has a cough and cold (again)
DS2 is getting very keen on projectile vomiting
DD is very well behaved and is finally trying to eat a bit more so might be able to move out of her tiny clothes (realised she is still in small baby as well as newborn and she is nearly 9 weeks old)

DS1 hit me with a teaspoon this morning because he asked for a bowl of rice krispies, cheeries and shreddies, but thought I had forgotten the rk's because they were hidden under the other stuff. Where does he learn that hitting me with a spoon will help?

As it is, he has eaten some of the above (dry), a whole weetabix, half a banana and nearly a pint of milk . Growth spurt?

OP posts:
fryalot · 11/03/2008 09:15

growth spurt.

squonkette update:

dp - work with manflu
dd1 - school with strop (her pe top wasn't quite dry despite her putting it in the dryer for half an hour before she left
dd2 - watching cbeebies with cough - off nursery again
ds - watching cbeebies with cough - caught of dd2
me - when not here trying to tidy, clean and create space in the kitchen so I can put my new microwave in it

unfortunately, if I insisted that she didn't leave the house whilst wearing any of that, she would be naked

twas this one - well, it seemed rude not to at that price

We haven't had a microwave for years.

Never used it when we did have it. But recently, we keep finding ourselves wanting to just zapp something quickly, or to re-heat something later. So twas decided that a super cheap microwave would be just the ticket.

They'd sold out when we went to the shop though, so yesterday... well, you know when you're just idly looking at something on line and before you can think about what your fingers are doing, you've bought something? well that was me.
