Change of circumstances dla wait time 2022

Hi I am a single mother of a 9 year old boy with JIA , I put in a change of circumstances to dla as he gets low care but this was awarded for his mental health before his diagnosis and change in care needs . I have been told my application must sit in queue for 17 weeks before it’s looked at . I have been doing some research online about this wait time and seem to find nothing . Would love some advise on other people currently waiting on a coc .

hi everyone,
my scan date is 09/02 I am almost on week 27.
they advised me it’s still not with a case worker and when it does go it can take up to 3 weeks for a decision 😒

Good morning every one . I need some advice if some one can help me out please. Actually my son confirmed with autism leave 3. DLA have refused his mobility claim recently. Because I wasn’t have any proof . Now his got his diagnosed . I called DLA today and got told if I want to apply for his mobility then I have to again fill form . I am thinking to apply for mobility. It’s going to worth to apply for his mobility and wait for 28 weeks 🥲plz advice thanks in advance

@Zoemelia I received a payment (no letter as yet) on Tuesday. Original scan date was 16th Feb so 27.5 weeks in total

My scan date was 28/03 and I’m still waiting for a decision on mobility needs.

Is yours a change of circumstance . 27 weeks in total wow that’s long

Any news from anyone been successfull with change of circumstance dla 24 weeks today!

Called them this morning took them an hour and a half to answer the phone and they said it’s now taking 28 weeks so hopefully will hear in the next two weeks.

Same date as me, haven’t heard a peep as of yet, they said last week 28 weeks now.

Yeah they seem to be taking their time hope it's not much longer 😕

Am 3rd marsh 26 weeks Tuesday they told me 28 now too

The received my coc on may 19 and was told I had to wait til December for a descion. Ridiculous

My date is 6th April so 25 weeks this Thursday. I have just rang and the lady said it is still currently 28 week wait, but it should go to decision maker late next week and they are sending text messages with decision straight away. A couple months ago a did a coc for another of my children and did recieve the text message with decision so hopefully it is true and they do it again so we dont have to wait for a letter.

hopefully get a text message letting me no 26 weeks today not ringing as get told different stuff every time I call lol . They say 28 as it takes two weeks for letter to come apparently so hopefully this wwwk I hear

Just to add to the current messages, I received an additional payment for my son on the 1st September (took 27.5 weeks). Up until today I’ve had no letter or text confirming the additional award. The only way I know he got it was because of the payment.
