Morning all. Today's sunrise was pretty - no clouds, but a few vapour trails that were lit in in pinks and orange. I might try getting more washing on the line if it stays dry

StupidKitten has had a supervised outing into next door's the garden. There has been one small vom, but this morning's food has stayed down so far.

The throws on the line are vaguely dry but I didn't put (corrects self) I DID put some more washing on, but it's still in the machine. FFS at self.

There was been gagging and burping by VomitKitten, but no actual hurling, so fingers crossed. (There has also been more pooing, so nothing's completely blocked...) Good news, if not the most savoury of topics. He's asleep on my arm so this is one handed typing.

Today involves irritating freelancing with certain people being beyond cheeky and chancing their arm. (Is that an actual phrase or have I made it up? Oh well.)

Someone left me a dead mouse in the utility room for when I got home yesterday. And then FancyCat was all over me in the evening - think she was being bothered by the slug that was stuck to her fur, which I only found later as it slimed across the coffee table. Frankly I could do without that sort of love from both of them

Bit of a panic this morning when the PC wouldn't come on. After much switching off and on again it finally booted up but I've been backing up all day in case it happens again.

Urgh Fancy. I found a slug in the kitchen sink the other day, I think it had come up the waste disposal. I collected it on a piece of kitchen roll and took it down the garden.

VomitKitten has done one tiny mini burp-with-follow-through, and a few burps-without, so he is much improved. He's also been in full Attack!Kitty mode, so while I'm pleased he's getting better I'd like it if he wasn't reverting back to that behaviour. (No pleasing me!)

I shall join in with the 'urghing' at slugs. I find them in the downstairs bathroom and hall, so I pick them up with loo roll and lob them out of the window.

Fingers crossed for your computer Apricot - it's horrible when they start getting unreliable.

Afternoon wenches. Lovely day. I went into town this morning to do some general shopping and bought Christmas cards.

Oh dear. I've deleted a file that had three listings for eBay that DS had dictated to me. They were on the bottom of something else and I'd forgotten they were there. Being my usual efficient self I've also deleted it from the recycle bin. Google isn't helping me, everyone wants an annual subscription to retrieve it. He'll just have to do it all over again. On the positive side, the computer seems fine today.

Hope LetUs's headache has gone and Helen has found her phone.

Am off shopping this morning. I have my list, I have my route.

DS2 is discovering that doing minimal homework for the last three nights has resulted in an awful lot to do this weekend. Naturally this is my fault and he doesn’t care and blah blah blah.

Morning all (just about). I have been shopping too, while DH is doing sportingActivity and DS is hanging out with friends. Still no phone... Shopping was semi-successful, but I haven't found new slippers yet. I. was going for cheap and cheerful, but Sainburys didn't have anything over than 'small', so there went that plan. ho hey ho. I also don't really want slippers with toggles or similar because AttackKitten needs no prompting to launch himself at my feet.

Could have sworn I'd posted yesterday!

Plan for today is to plant some bulbs - a bit late but hey ho.

DH is driving me mad, it's a panic a day here. He's just gone to get petrol and his credit card wasn't where it should be, so he's had to leave his phone at the petrol station and come home for another form of payment. He has no idea where his card is. He'll cancel it and then find it.

DS is coming round later to re-dictate the eBay listings.

We have been clearing a room for buildery-type work that requires it to be completely cleared. That's having been out all day.

Venom-Carnage was ok, but not worth paying a full price ticket for. I also trapped my finger between a door and a wall at the cinema and it's ouchy and vaguely bluey-purple. I'm hoping for a full on purple bruise tomorrow to maximise the sympathy.

Hope that planting and shopping went ok, as appropriate. We have a quiz night tonight, where we shall do ok (hopefully), except when there are any questions about soaps and popular tv, at which point we will crash and burn.
