I know what you mean about keeping to fluff Fancy. We've tried quite a few new dramas lately, but I can't get into them. I want to be entertained, not spend an hour wondering what the hell is going on. They're just too complicated and hurt my brain.

Biscuits baked, managed to drop the second tray as it came out of the oven.

I want to start Ridley Road but I agree with what’s been said in that by the time of an evening we both sit down to watch something, brains are like please don’t make us concentrate it huuuurrrrrtttts.

Shetland starts on Wednesday so I’ll definitely make the effort for that though!

Evening all. The finger is not great, but ok. Still rather sausage-like and a faintly dubious colour. No bad enough to stop me doing anything.

Furniture is now cleared, and I just need to seal up the room to stop dust coming through to the rest of the house. I'll do that tomorrow morning. (DH has done a fair bit, but also done a lot of 'We need to....' which translates to 'I'll identify what needs doing and then you can actually do it' ) Baking hasn't happened but some fruit has been cooked up for freezing.

re. dropping the tray of biscuits LetUs - were they salvageable? Also sympathies on homework. DS assured me that his was all done - then remembered some at about 8pm that's due tomorrow. I must start monitoring his homework, he's just too disorganised.

It sounds like we've all be doing domestic chuntering. Those tops are nice Wicked - especially the pink one.

In good news, StupidKitten seems entirely recovered. Hurrah!

Some more garden tidying done and also some cleaning. Not much admin, but I made a start. Oh, and I ordered some new bedding as one of my duvet covers is falling apart.

The sun rise was (briefly) very vivid this morning - bright red/orange sky. Apparently it will chuck it down later today/tomorrow. If so, then the shepherd will have been right.

Afternoon. Horrible day, much rain. Excitement of the day, visit to Lidl.

The credit card has turned up as I knew it would. He remembers now why he put it where it was found. No good to him though as it's been cancelled.

I did get up and went to work. Looked at all the lovely signs notifying drivers of the upcoming road closures and roadworks on my way to and from work. Got home and helped with homework. Tired now.

Just going to stock up on first aid equipment for burns to the hand if Fancy goes ahead with the plan to iron and watch FAF at the same time.

Renovation work is going well, but the weather is miserable. Raining since mid-afternoon.

Road closures round here too LetUs. The bank of a stream up the road collapsed about a week ago and although it's about 20 yards from the road they've closed it anyway. You can get out of the area but there's a detour of about a mile to get back to our road. I haven't seen anyone working on it yet.
