Wedding itself went very well. LittleSis looked beautiful obviously. My feet are a bit sore. Today is getting home, homework, getting DS1 back to uni and then off to BigCity to collect DH as he’s running a marathon!

Eek - MrLetUs has more energy than sense. Glad wedding all went well. Sore feet at the sign of a Good party

StupidKitten has had medicine #1 and is sitting/sulking in the cat carrier again. Medicine #2 will be in 45 minutes if DH is up/awake enough to provide the third/fourth hands needed to get pills into the furry monster.

The weather is a bit dubious, I'm not quite sure what it's going to do - lots of high cloud and mist that may burn off to be a lovely day, or just be grey and miserable.

Hope than Fancy manages not to work today, and LetUs's busy day goes smoothly. Good luck to MrLetUs for the run. Fingers crossed for a nice day all round...

Oh dear. DH has tried to change the battery on his phone following a YouTube video and now it won't turn on. It did however, manage to call the emergency services this morning which was embarrassing.

Also the toilet in the bathroom is spraying blue liquid out of the pipe at the back which caused another job. He's not had a happy day.

StupidKitten is actually being very good about drugs. It is quite alarming that he's lost two baby teeth when I've been syringing in drugs, but the vet had already noticed they were coming loose so I haven't bashed them out

Crappy week ahead with people on leave which is fine and dandy, but the cover to help with their jobs is off sick. And the house of cards just falls to the floor. Not in the mood.

It's sunny here - off for a walk with FancyMan today. Didn't watch a film last night, may try again tonight.

Afternoon. Nice day, but definitely cooler. I did a food shop at Sainsburys this morning and finally filled the car up. No queues.

DH took the phone into a repair shop and £75 later, it has a new screen and works. Hurrah!

Stupid Kitten has had a session of mini-voms late afternoon, so we went to see the vet again and have more and different medicines. And he's under house arrest to stop him eating the wildlife. Hopefully it's just a blip and he'll stop being sick now He's going to hate being stuck inside though.

Letus, if hbfs can't help, can we at least send Vinnie round to sort out work?

Had a lovely walk today, weather perfect and we saw four herons and a kingfisher - it kept flying in front of us and looked amazing in the sunshine.

DeviousKitten went outside with me to do the chickens - bounded along, sprinted past me, bombed up and down the apple trees burning off the 'I've been shut indoors' energy. I start walking back to the house - him pootling after me. I bend down to pick up a bucket, stand up again, and... nothing. nada. Kitten? What kitten? He has completely buggered off into a hedge (probably)...
DH has just come down so I had to confess to my stupidity; DH set out into the garden to look for him and was barely off the patio when BloodyAnnoyingKitten comes bounding up the garden all "Here I am! I've had fun!!!" still, at least he's in and having a couple more mouthfuls of food. On the plus side, none of the frantic activity led to throwing up He's now curled up on my lap purring, but ever time he does a minor burp, I flinch and prepare for a projectile vom.

I'm well impressed with your sociable kingfisher Fancy but bemused by Legally Blonde 2 - I wasn't aware something could be more fluffy and lightweight that the first one Actually I really like the first one.

In other news I have a new laptop. I preferred my old keyboard and clicky touch-pad. But hey ho - at least it reliably talks to the keyboard

I’ve seen a kingfisher once but it was at at WWT wetlands centre so that’s a bit like cheating. I tried to take a picture —to Facebook at Steve Backshall and impress him— but I wasn’t quick enough.

I had fish for tea, with baked beans and cheesy croquettes.

Speaking of dim kitties, ScaredyCat left me what I suspect was mouse intestines on the stairs this morning, so first job of the day was scrubbing the blood stains out of the carpet.
