It's a bit grey outside, but there's plenty of sky too, which is gradually getting more blue. In fact it's quite acceptably blue now - completely at odds with the forecast, so presumably it won't last for long.

Had a stupid late night last night because we were watching a programme about 'cats from hell' - i.e. people having trouble with their cats. We were hoping for brainwaves on stopping CuteKitten from being an arse. But no, apparently he's just an arse/stroppy teenager and we seem to be doing most things right.

Morning. Very sunny here, so some gardening is probably in order.

Watched a film last night so my ironing is up to date.

Glad to hear Cutekitten behaved himself, it's bloody embarrassing when they go into psycho mode at the vets although she has got better lately, there's one vet at the practice where she gets embarrassing the other way - fussing over him and licking him. He is very much a cat man and she knows it.

Still lots of petrol queues today, but at least more places had fuel to queue for, so hopefully things are improving down here. Have been organised this evening - bled all the radiators and depressurised the boiler.

It stopped raining mid-morning. We've had about 2-3cm in the past 24 hours I think. Local FB page is full of outraged "Our road is flooded!!!" comments, as if heavy rain doesn't normally flood the roads.

In hindsight, I could perhaps have done with another day on the settee under a blanket but the day’s done now so I reckon a good night’s sleep - anywench remember what one of those is - will do the trick.

Send the slippers back Helen. I’ve been through the trying to convince yourself that the item you’ve treated yourself to does actually fit properly and will end up being comfortable. This is why there’s a pair of expensive boots under my bed in their original box that have only been worn twice in about 12 years, the last time being about 11 years ago.
