Meh day. DS2 text me earlier when he’d got home to say he’d had a shower and his uniform was in the wash as he’s off school tomorrow. I’d totally forgotten. Good job I don’t have to have childcare in place. I’ve suggested he’ll be able to get loads of homework done.

StupidCat is not stupid - she is hiding upstair on a comfy bed away from CuteKutten, who has done his 'cute' quota for the morning and is now AttackKitten. . The thing is that he's just playing (most of the time) because he's only drawn blood about twice. He just puts too much effort into it.

Afternoon - have had a nice day off with Fancyman, pottering mostly. Did visit the new refill shop for a nosey, that was unplanned so didn't really need much. Did buy some of their dark chocolate buttons though which I can honestly say are delicious.

Fuel still scarce here - only one out of 5 garages open on the way to FancyMan's and the queue was long. And was impeding traffic on the main road. Think a couple of the others were open on the way back, but the previously open one was now shut. Trouble is loads of people who put off buying, like we were told to, are now running low judging by the local FB group!

Afternoon. Quite a nice day here, bed linen dried well, although there's a cold wind.

Oh dear, MNHQ haven't changed the title. Did I do it right? I reported my first post and asked them nicely if they could add 'Swagger Inn 170' to the beginning of the title. They acknowledged it but nothing's happened. I can't stand looking at that for the next three months.

I’d like to have a drink but DH has gone out and I’m picking him up. He’s given me a lift often enough when I’ve been out. But I really want a bath and a drink and to go to bed. CaptainSanti can take care of all of that for me later.

I do love a day of pottering about. Though today was all spreadsheets and numbers. I nipped out for a food shop at lunchtime and managed not to break my back this time. I also managed to fill up DH's car because we've been doing the 'not panic buying thing', but his car was running low, and by some happy miracle the queue for fuel wasn't out onto the main road. Apparently they were out of fuel again by this evening. FFs and all that.

I haven't had any for 3 days (I'm seeing how long my willpower lasts) and there is no red bull in the house, so if I'm knackered I just have to deal with it.

Watched Last Christmas and bawled my eyes out at ”the twist”

Morning all. I had a lie-in that didn't involve any feeding of the livestock

However, CuteKitten is absolutely hyper so I've been getting him to chase a rope around and then been out in the garden picking up windfalls while he blasts around the place, in a futile attempt to wear him out. IntelligentCat has retreated back upstairs for some peace and quiet. CuteKitten has flopped on my lap for some purring and kneading - I think this may last about a minute before he starts chewing my arm

No rain here (yet), just cloudy.

Much rain here today, so not planning to go anywhere. Will get a bit of work done ahead of next week as expecting a busy period at work and hopefully a few chores - followed by comfort food for dinner, frothy tv and ironing in the evening #living the dream.

FancyCat is also not planning on going out, sensible cat. ScaredyCat is under the duvet, after tea she will probably spend the rest of the afternoon annoying us by asking to go out and then flinching when she gets a blast of windy rain in the face & changing her mind. Rinse & repeat two minutes later at a different window/door.

I have ordered a new laptop. The keyboard on my tablet is working again I have also ordered some obscenely expensive slippers because they were recommended by a friend. And I bought school photos for sending to the outlaws. My credit card is now lying in a dark corner, recovering.

Cold is taking a hold. Everything from the neck up hurts. Rather worried I’ll have passed it on to my mother which is not great timing given it’s the wedding this weekend.

I am therefore comfort watching a Miss Marple and will do the ironing this afternoon.

I don't watch Granchester, but express my sympathies for Leonard out of solidarity

DS arm seems to be causing very little trouble (apart from when he suck a pen inside the cast to itch his arm, and got the pen lid stuck in there - FFS)

It's sunny and windy just now - I feel I should be doing something productive outside.
