Morning all. The weather has taken notice of my complaints yesterday and given us clear skies today so I can see the sunrise. A silvery-golden effort today. I stayed up late last night having a bath and now I am tired, which is my own stupid fault.

Today - painting, working, painting... so I need to get off my backside and crack on with stuff. (I won't, I'll sit here for at least another 15 minutes mooching online.)

Well done with the knitting LetUs. I'm not doing very well with mine, I don't seem to have the time which is ridiculous, although I have been eBaying which can be quite time-consuming.

It is yesterday, on repeat, in this household. Though there is a bit more cloud outside so the sun had more to reflect off when it rose, which is/was pretty.

I made DS clear his school back out last night. The I washed it on account of the xmas chocolate that he's left in the bottom of it. ick

Also, because I am a faaaaaaaaaaan!!! was idly curious, I have looked into TB/Strike HairGate and confirm that in the current publicity post his hair seems to be brushed forward into more of a fringe effect, instead of swept sideways. Whatever.

AND, I got to bed earlier last night, but I'm still knackered this morning. I shall have to try for earlier again tonight.

Afternoon - I have jinxed my plans for the week - was supposed to be having friends to stay for a couple of nights as from today, so washed bedding, cleaned the guest bathroom & even cooked tonight's dinner last night. Then FancyMan tested positive this morning & he was round here yesterday, so plans have been cancelled. See, it just doesn't pay to be too organised

So today is basically just work, may have a commiseration vodka tonight.

I can't say I see much difference in Strike's hair to be honest. Apparently his Mum is in the new series and there appears to be much speculation about the character she will play. It's been so long since I read the book that I've forgotten what it was about.

Oh dear, poor DS2 LetUs, hope he's alright.

That's a shame about FancyMan Fancy, hope he doesn't get it too badly.

I sold four items over the weekend on eBay, although I do have rather a lot on there. Three of them were only tiddlers, under £10 profit each but it all adds up. There was one bigger sale for DS. He chucked it at me when he collected his DC and asked me to list it. It sold within two hours and I now think I didn't ask enough for it. You can't win.

Thanks for the LetUs, I'm getting quite a collection here. I've never used the tinsel yarn, in fact I didn't know it was a thing. It looks very pretty and I'm sure the finished article will be lovely but I would imagine it would be difficult to use.

Yesterday was really crappy, started with a nightmare and just downhill from that. And the blob arrived as well. Today was a bit better but not much.

The world is indeed full of cute kitties ww. I would fill my house with them, but FancyCat would have a hissy fit. Literally. I have never known any other cat who can radiate such disapproval just by sitting there
