It's dark and raining here. Bleurgh. I'm trying to figure out how Wordpress works to help with a website - more of that situation with the idiot who deleted stuff in a huff and I retrieved most of it - replacement website it up, but needs populating. It's going ok, but there's stuff I know I can do, but can't work out how WordPress does it/what it calls it. FFS and all that.

Excellent news re. your shopping trip Wicked - that sounds like a fun think to look forward too. I've just been adding stuff to our calendar - school trips and suchlike.

Went to Sainsbury's this morning. There are roadworks again as 220 more houses are being built on the outskirts of the village so I had to go the long way round.

We’ve had a fair amount of hail today, lots of dark skies and stuff. New skincare stuff seems to work, at least my face feels better. Anything further will require surgery or gaffer tape.

I’m waiting for the washing machine to finish and then I’m heading for bath’n’book. Not chosen which book to start next.

Usual weekend lies ahead with added errands including bookshop trip as I still have book tokens. Must crack on with the knitting - made no progress during the week really as I’m too tired in the evenings to properly concentrate. Also out for chippy tea tonight.

Bought a book after a nice browse this morning. Got home just before the rain set in for the whole day. Did a bit of knitting too.

Have had a lovely relaxing bath but since I came back downstairs DH has been talking at me more or less all the time. Please stop telling me about the boxing and saying “watch this bit” and stuff like that. I don’t care.

Evening. I have been productive enough for all of us Apricot - web site stuff and laundry and painting and carpet washing. And I still need to make the beds again.

FFS at unwanted sharing of tedious sports stuff LetUs - I try to look interested, but honestly, I really don't care. In interesting sports stuff, I enjoyed the tiny bit of rugby that I saw.

Weather's been fairly nice here, and the washing dried on the line this afternoon, but I think that rain is on the way.

We had DGD and DGS2 this afternoon for a couple of hours as DS was playing golf, which was nice. DGS2 has issues unfortunately and is a lot bit of a handful, but we do our best to keep him amused and he seems happy enough.

We’ve had some fairly stormy conditions which weren’t pleasant. DS2 had an upset stomach and felt sick which I think is partly connected to anxiety.

Ironing done and everything away.
