Admin Officer within the CJS.

It, erm, has its moments.

ChubbyScotsBurd · 09/11/2007 23:14

Vet on ML, love it with all of my heart but worried about how it will work out when I go back ... such long hours, not enough money to cover the mortgage, feel I should be here for my DS etc etc ... :rolls eyes:

Head of HR - love it!

bettythebuilder · 09/11/2007 23:27

I run my own business wholesaling and retailing(online) baby/gift products that I invented and designed... and I love it!
Although it's a bit scary running my own business, it's incredibly rewarding seeing my products for sale in shops

SuzieSweep · 10/11/2007 11:46

3andnomore - As you are a qualified nurse can you do the OT course quicker, i.e. 12-18 months opposed to having to do the full 3 years?

I am a university lecturer and I love it. Have had a tough week this last week, but it has just made me realise what a community we are.

SuzieSweep... not so VERY mature... the oldest person I've taught was over 70! He was fab too... got a First!

i'm a SAHM atm, but was a Holistic Therapist and will be again one day Yes, I loved it

bilblio · 10/11/2007 12:42

Support Worker for adults with learning disabilities. I'm on maternity leave right now though.

I do love it, but I'm not looking forward to going back once maternity leave is over.

The best bit of the job is doing full time hours over 3 days. The worst bit is having to do a 24 hour long sleep-in shift once a week to fit all the hours in.

Quattrocento · 10/11/2007 12:50

Work in tax law and yes I love it. Oddly enough. Sometimes it seems lilke a battle juggling everything.

TingTang · 10/11/2007 13:05

I'n an artist and do commissioned pieces, exhibit and sell some of my work through various craft galleries in and around Dublin and Cork.

Also teach art on a part-time to adults, which I enjoy hugely.

I truly love what I do, and regard myself as extremely fortunate to be making money from my talent.

Blandmum · 10/11/2007 13:06

I'm a part time teacher in secondary school and I love it. I also sometimes teach other teachers, and write teaching materials, and I love that too.
