Well it's a bit brighter today - which meant lots of ice to clear off the car this morning. Still, it's Friday & that means Lucifer night (I wish )

Afternoon. Just been for a couple of laps round the road. That sounds like I was running, but nooooo... I'm so unfit, my legs are stiff from the walk yesterday, although that did include a very steep hill.

Work is behind me for the week. DH wants to watch The Serpent tonight but I’m tiiirrredddddd. It’s really good but I have to concentrate and I’m not sure my brain’s up to it.

Evening. Manic day here. Slept in, then straight from breakfast to work to tea... Currently watching Death in Paradise.
Yesterday's uncontactable work idiot was turned out to be an idiot of the highest order who has screwed up massively, so I have no idea what happens next with that job. However I've been doing BoringSpareRoomJob today which is too busy to be boring and meant I didn't get a chance to find out about UncontactableIdiot until this evening.

LOL at Series 4554 of NCIS - Gibbs will be suitably stern I expect. And then Lucifer can deliver the punishment - does that work for you Fancy/LetUs?

I should really be having a lie in but I seem to be up. (Livestock fed, breakfast done, etc). I have a distinct lack of enthusiasm for anything today.

Oh we had a bit of snow overnight, but not enough to do anything with it. And we watched Ep3 of Witches last night. Still waiting for James Purefoy to feature, so I can see if he is still as FAF as my mind tells me he was in A Knights Tale...

Need to get out & do stuff, hopefully going for a walk this afternoon.

We went for a walk this afternoon and sort of met DD & Co. We waved and shouted through a gate, a strip of land and a wire fence which separates their village from our roads. Bit bonkers really but the best we can do under the circumstances.

Evening. Whats' all this 'nice day' stuff? It's been relentlessly grey, dreary and cold
Have got tidying done - cleared out two kitchen cupboards and cleaned the shelves, hoovered, had a short walk. Not exactly la vida loca. I really need to start doing more fitness stuff though. Meanders up the road aren't really doing much but the roads are so wet that I don't really fancy taking the bike out (in my wellies and waterproofs. #Glamour)

Took DS2 for his new glasses. In the snow. One pair already needs to go back (nothing he’s done) for a repair. Went for a walk. For a change I didn’t particularly want to go on my own and DS2 wouldn’t budge so I asked DH and he helpfully talked and explained stuff, punctuated by me saying yes I know, for a lot of it.

Apricot, but obviously only a virtual one. Hopefully the vaccines will do the job and we’ll all be jabbed —except for one of my colleagues who isn’t as it’s all a bit suspicious FFAS—

The walk was nice, if muddy and we got back just as it started to snow a bit, which was well timed.

Lucifer did look fine last night, very welcome on a January night. Speaking of hear - hot flushes have returned to a minor degree. I'm actually not too bothered as they're not too bad & if they are coming back the middle of winter is probably the best time

Today I have to take DS2’s new glasses to be mended, washing, ironing, and try to do another walk this time with DS2.

Morning. Is very cold here - hard frost and it's misty, so not even scenic frosty whiteness set against a blue sky.

I did get a better lie-in today though. So hurrah!

Woke up to a white world to this morning, hope the bloody stuff is gone by the time I actually have to go anywhere

Evening. Today we have walked (DS multi-tasked by having a good winge as well) and tidied and gardened a bit. No white stuff, despite the BBC weather forecast promising a 91% chance. Still cold though.

Hope that the glasses are safely off to be mended now LetUs, and the tedious housework wasn't too tedious (HBF/ironing combination, etc.) When do you have to actually go anywhere Fancy? Could you melt any offending snow with a hot flush

Evening. We have snow, loads of it and it's still snowing. We won't be going out obviously but the roads will be a nightmare tomorrow.

Hope everyone is managing to keep warm and Fancy's hot flushes are helping. I still get them and they do come in useful sometimes.

I managed to get DS2 out for a walk this afternoon. Took the glasses in which they’ve adjusted a bit and hopefully should stay fixed. Haven’t done the ironing so that shall have to be done tomorrow evening. I don’t think there’s too much anyway.

Have watched ep7 of The Serpent and have a bazillion more things lined up to watch. Also a new Simon Reeve thing started tonight so that’s going to be a special treat to perk me up during the week.

Watched The Serpent, had a Serpent dream. I’m therefore looking forward to watching the new Simon programme one evening and having a lovely Simon dream because that’s obviously how it will work. Mmhmm.
