Also raaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnn and daaaaaaaaarkk here. I stayed in bed in protest so DH eventually got up and fed the livestock. Though he left his alarm on. Hmmph. (Actually useful, because school, work, etc...)

But yes, perfect day for staying indoors.

That's good re DS2 letus, DD also dislikes the online lessons (but to a much lesser extent!) but it does break the day up for her, which I think is good.

Afternoon. Lots of rain here too.

I love to see the bluebell shoots Fancy. They were peeping through in our garden before Christmas.

Oh, excitement! A part for the oven arrived from Amazon this morning and DH fitted it. He says it works fine, but I have yet to try it.

Evening. I have had my nose pressed against the grindstone. I have also had an email asking me what I think about some work that I didn't' know about, which always cheers me up. Not. FFs and all that.

Hurrah for the oven apricot - fingers crossed that it's working again now!

I have to go and try to find bluebell shoots in my garden now... Well, not exactly now, I'm not going to take a torch out and scour the relevant patch of grass in the dark. I'll doooooo iiiittttt tomorrow, if I remember.

DH wants to watch another episode of The Serpent tonight. Thing is, I’ll be nice and tired then we watch that and it’s that flipping tense, it wakes me up and then I can’t get to sleep.

Morning wenches. Rain and dark, dark and rain. Hope wenches in areas at risk of flooding are okay.

Rubbish night again. Recurring dream of my car being stolen so that was nice.

errr the days are getting longer with lighter evenings, other stuff.

Morning. grey and damp here but not actually raining. We have flood warnings, but it's only general sogginess here. Not at risk of being submerged fortunately. I did have to re-tie down the cover on the chicken run and chase an escapee round the outside of the coop. That was my excitement for the morning.

Positive stuff... um. HBFs are positively FAF? There's only 3 days to the weekend? We are wench!? (and we have a Tavern with a lovely cwtch cupboard for when it all gets a bit much.)

Afternoon, in the office today & disappointed to note the roadworks are back on my commute - including a bonus set

Still, being in the office keeps me more awake - most useful as I struggled to get to sleep last night - think it was the noise from the wind outside

Evening. What a horrible day, never stopped raining or got properly light.

Very depressing.

On a positive note though, the weather looks better for tomorrow and the oven was fine. Yay!

I think I need a decent night’s sleep because that’s always a good first step to not feeling like shit.

Watching the inauguration has also helped improve my mood.

There’s football on tonight so I shall have a bath and start the next Michael Palin.

Evening. Today has been work, work and more work. My inbox was bonkers and it was just loads of different things that needed to be done. Need to go and catch upon what's happening in the world. DH says that Nigella's recipe of the day was Bitter Orange Tart, which is brilliant whether it was on purpose or just serendipity.

at LetUsCat in a onesie. I had a labrador in my dream, with the daftest name, so I woke up thinking that I have to remember that name and use it if we ever get a dog. No idea what it was now of course.

It's bright and sunny here, but still very windy. No chickens tried to escape this morning though, so that's a bonus.

FFS. You know that feeling when you have a good drying day, put the washing out, and then find a massive bird poo splodged across your massive duvet cover once it's dry? That.

Plus work idiots being idiots and then being uncontactable so I can't sort out their idiocy. Gah!!!

Evening. Much better day. We had snow last night, but it's gone now. We went for a walk this afternoon and picked flies out of the houses and frontages and mentally improved those that needed it.

I missed that Panorama programme, I'll find it on iPlayer. That's the vaccine I had because I've had a mild reaction to antibiotics in the past. DH had the Pfizer.

Duvet cover is now drying inside. It had a quick blow-about on the line, then I brought it in again.

Slightly better day. Have just had at least 30 minutes dancing about in the kitchen to some excellent disco music. I mean, my back’s a bit sore but mentally I feel better.

I do that Apricot, but it’s to the back of my own house when I’m putting the washing out. At least I did until we got the roof and guttering and pointing done.

Day off tomorrow Fell asleep on the couch this evening. Really tired lately, waking up a lot during the night even though I use sleeping pills. Lot of weird dreams.

Inconvenient Cat has just curled up and fallen asleep on me, because he knows that I want to go to bed.
