My subconscious sent me on holiday with Iron Maiden. WTF? Plus some random old women who announced that they'd booked the same holiday for us all next year, and I had to tell them that next year it wouldn't be lock down so DS would be in school. Baffling.

I wish it was Friday here too. I booked actual Friday off and then had to unbook it because we're too busy at BoringSpareRoomJob. But's I'm still taking the morning off for a lie-in (that won't happen because DS will need some supervision).

Eveing wences. I must cut my nails, I can't type with them. I haven't done them since before Christmas.

Weird dream Helen. It's funny how the current situation makes its way into our dreams. I look at people and am horrified that they're not wearing masks.

Nothing happening here. Oh, its DH's birthday but there obviously won't be any celebrations. DD and DGS came round and threw cards to him in the drive.

My back’s gone. Haven’t done anything to it, not moved suddenly or anything. Have been hobbling round work. Am hoping that a warm bath and then straight to bed will help.

Happy birthday MrA! I love the ease of typing when I've just cut my nails - it's an easier fix for typing difficulties than dealing with ScaredyCat who is frantically fussing round me, it's cute but impractical.

Composter is cold helen not sure if it's not having enough food waste or whether it's airflow related - can't say I'm too keen on emptying it in this weather! Also I swear rain is getting in somewhere at times - I need to investigate that when the weather is better

My early night didn't happen, because I went to shut down the work computer and then got sucked into 'just dealing with these emails'... for another 2 hours Oh well - that's two hours I don't have to work today

Currently listening to new Foo Fighters song. A bit different to normal, but it's ok. It may grow on me.

Will definitely go out for bike/walk/exercise of some sort at lunchtime today if the weather stays like this.

Finally FRIDAY!!!! It's so bloody cold though, -6 here, tomorrow it's supposed to be down to -14, and even worse on Sunday. I mean WTF! Must be a typo or something

We were forecast some snow this weekend but it seems to have bogged off.

I need to up my walking this weekend. I’ll perhaps restart the running next month.

Found another thing I'm going to stock up on next time in London, Indian food stuff! I'm really envious We only have a few things at the supermarket like Tikka Masala spices etc, you have TONS of stuff. I need to bring an extra suitcase

I'm glad I got out for a bike ride at lunchtime - it's been miserable here this afternoon - more rain And despite my half day, I worked 6 hours+ and ended up with a mind-bending excel formula / maths problem that I need DH to help with. FFS, grumble. grumble, etc...

I've missed something here - what is this martial arts thing? Has Kylo taken up karate?

I am awake and out of bed, but not dressed. Watched more Witches last night. I'm hoping that it's building up to something, because this episode was a bit baffling with nothing much happening.

It's windy and cloudy, but only another 3mm of rain since yesterday morning, so that's a relief. It's not very encouraging weather though, for going out for a walk/bike ride.

Also, I'm am horrible and mean and generally not 'mother of the year' because I told DS he needed to catch up on school work that he hasn't finished. [rolls eyes]

I’ve got my new book and a bottle of something fizzy from M&S along with tonight’s dinner. We had a gift card from Christmas so got lots of lovely treats.

Very windy here too and cold so today’s walk can do one. I shall have a party for one in the kitchen I think as a form of exercise.
