noo dont spend your clubcard vouchers instore, save them up, they are worth 3 times more in their offers than on money off your shopping, we are going to legoland next week for free, using their vouchers. and my mum and dad have saved enough to go to tuscuny next year, for free by using their tesco vouchers!!

StormInADcup · 21/08/2007 14:00

oh...

JennsterBubsLayer · 21/08/2007 14:52

Yup, I've nearly got enough to book flights for all of us to go to Tuscany too next year for my 30th.

StormInADcup · 21/08/2007 15:06

oh Ive just been using them for luxury food.... I am a Taurus who loves home comforts...
got my back to work maternity bonus so spent some on jeans for me and dh from matalan, and new socks for him, work shoes for me and a book for dd. came in quite useful...

Macdog · 21/08/2007 15:37

Love the pics Worley.

M&T group had a soft play day today, dd ran herself to exhaustion again!!

We're just going out for a walk while it's dry and sunny.

DD got taken out of nursery yest, as when they changed her nappy, there was blood on the wipe and it came from her vagina. Dr said it was ok, but to go back if it got worse. No more blood dd fine all night and this morning. This afternoon dh got called in again as she hadn't eaten all day and was listless and upset. She puked on the way home and then got a high temp. looks like my peaceful day tomorrow aint going to be so peaceful!

worleyhurley · 21/08/2007 21:19

oh dear poor jenster bub. hope the ds is well. hows the feeding going with him?

i've borrowed blades of glory from my friend so may watch that in a mo.. hopefully is ds1 stays in bed and ds2 actually stays asleep [fingers crossed emotion]

JennsterBubsLayer · 21/08/2007 21:54

DS is fine. Feeding well and growing loads. He has nearly grown out of 0-3 month sleep suits already.

StormInADcup · 22/08/2007 14:50

cant believe how fast time is going! when you have kids, it just flies.
sister is due nov. 6th, shes worrying a lot about what kind of mum shes going to be etc, Im trying to reassure her but remember it so well! and that feeling of utter shock and depression after sleep deprivation in first few days...oh my god, what have we done! etc.

I love having a 14mth old, they are more fun. we went to matalan and took a pair of jeans back, Id picked up wrong size for dh, I got him 3 sale pairs for the same price! bargainous.
Beautifully sunny here, just been for a long stroll round the neighbourhood. dd crashed out as we went to playgroup earlier, and cant believe it but met 2 nice new mums...

Macdog · 22/08/2007 15:45

Hope Jennsterbub gets better soon.

We spent this afternoon on the beach with a picnic. Trolled round the shops later and got dd a winter jacket in a sale.

Back to swimming lessons tomorrow, can't wait

Macdog · 24/08/2007 20:03

Worley, thanks for the Tesco vouchers advice. I didn't realise about deals. Turns out our local theme park does the deal so that'll be a good day out for the Macdogs.

Hope you all have good weekends

Am breastfeeding while standing in kitchen making tea. What a night. This apartment bhas a laptop and wireless. Very luxurious, but if I owned I would have a massive snagging list. It's BRAND bew. Somehow I think very soon it will be a child free apartment.

Macdog · 26/08/2007 10:25

PMSL at the ebay item, Worley

had a lovely afternoon in the park, ds1 and dp went in the canoes, ds1 managed to soak dp ds2 loves to go down the slide, he started off going down on ds1's lap but goes on his own now, !! then we had a 99 [mm](licking lips face!) and some candy floss before heading home. we looked at hiring a boat for the afternoon, but it was £15 for an hour and we wouldnt get very far up the broads in that time so we may save and hire one for a few hours longer next week and make a bit of a day of it....maybe.

ds2 just nodded off and in bed, just ds1 to go and then we can watch smallville and then the ghost whisper. Im very sad.

JennsterBubsLayer · 26/08/2007 22:40

It feels like it's 1AM because we are so knackered. Ready for home tomorrow after lunch with my great aunt in Leeds.

Been on the Yorkshire wheel which was hilarious. DD was trying to hammer on the flimsy plexiglass doors whild dh cowered on the floor hyperventilating and sweating. Took a ride on the river, did a small trip round the railway museum, been in the cathedral and a national trust property. Had some fab meals out and a rubbish one tonight in a snooty restaurant where they didn't get a tip.

Ebay dead funny. Didn't look initally, assumed it was a link to some Tesco vouchers for some reason.

Macdog · 27/08/2007 17:16

at your dh, Jenn. Can't stand heights either

Well, dd has the POX
It's been rife at M&T, so was only a matter of time.
She'd been off colour for a couple of days with a mild temp rise. Changed her nappy last night and her legs were all spotty. More arriving as I type, and some are starting to blister.

Just trying to get her out in fresh air as much as poss, without actively infecting everyone else in the vicinity

JennsterBubsLayer · 28/08/2007 19:30

Oh dear Macpup. Piriton all the way.

I used to have vertigo, but not any more. Now that is horrid. Dh just not keen on the heights.

Went to Manchester today to see genetic councellor. She thinks I have a lifetime risk of 1 in 3 of breast cancer. Message was i) have children as young as possible check ii) breast feed for as long as possible check iii) Stay your ideal weight oh dear iv) Drink in moderation well we've been on hliday this last week...
