YouEatedMyHaggis · 25/01/2008 13:48

Hurrah JW! You must be so relieved!!

Trick is with Haggis to try and catch a wild one, Jenn. I set up a trap in the garden for mine. Pic on my profile of the one I caught

It's my birthday today! ( I'm 35 ) How did I get so old

YouEatedMyHaggis · 25/01/2008 14:07

I'm dreading 'theme days' when dd goes to school. Mind you I am a hoarder, so always something that can be cut up/adapted

Jennster · 25/01/2008 14:21

Ds ate my soup for lunch yesterday and yes it was in the nappy this morning and ..........................how many 6 month old babies have eaten quinoa do you think?

Jennster · 25/01/2008 20:09

worley · 26/01/2008 21:08

mmmm just had chinese for tea AND some banana fritters, really really bad for us but lovely. this is turning in to a food thread!!.

decided to go away fro a few nights in the half term, am about to book a night in mansfield for £19 (so ds1 can go to sherwood forest as he loves the robin hood series) and will try to find some where near brum for £19 a night also so we can visit dps friends and see their little ones to. travel lodge are doing their halfterm supersaver offers [grinn]cheap halfterm then

Jennster · 26/01/2008 21:18

Sounds good Worley.

Macdog have you seen the Guardian today? 'Lets move to' is Troon. Looks lovely. And JW there is a house in Leicestershire that at least from the outside looks to die for. Where abouts in the Midlands are you intending to move to?

Jennster · 26/01/2008 21:21

Food thread is GOOD. Just had morrocan lamb with couscous for dinner. Lovely. Apricots, prunes and spices.

YouEatedMyHaggis · 27/01/2008 12:15

Just looked up that article online. Troon is one of our favourite places to go. Spent most of last summer on the beach, hopefully again this year. The CGulls cafe is the one that does the toddler platter and 'healthy' food.

dh got nasty looking eye again, hopefully we can get it fixed before it ulcerates agian like last time

Jennster · 27/01/2008 15:15

Poor mrmacdog. Mrjennster has just recovered from a very nasty sore bout of conjunctivitis (but the eye that got damaged with shingles) and it seems half the neighbours have had it too.

worley · 27/01/2008 22:00

my cousin had a little boy yesterday 6lb 6oz and her brother's girlfriend also had a little boy today weighing 7lb 6oz. so im off to buy some little baby boys things tomorrow
i could almost be broody if ds2 wasn'y such a little monster and puts me off more babies.

Jennster · 27/01/2008 22:49

omg the angel child has become a little bugger. Actually think it's teething. He has been sleeping at night quite happily to 11ish when he had a feed and went straight back sleep, then again once in the night to the morning. Well tonight he woke at 9! He has only just gone down again. It took some paracetamol and quite a bit more milk.

YouEatedMyHaggis · 28/01/2008 12:24

Nice to hear good news, W

worley · 28/01/2008 20:14

yay i spoke to the student loans company people today and it turns out that as im part time i dont have to pay my student loan as im under the limit that they take money from. so they have paid me back last years and will pay back this tax years asap. all cause my work has the wrong amount written down.

i know i have to pay it back eventually but it helps at the moment not having to pay it, and they were taking over £100 a month which is quite a chunk when im part time.

worley · 28/01/2008 20:14

oooh were nearly up to 1000 messages, who did message 666 ?
probably me as i have the demon child!!

Jennster · 28/01/2008 20:34
